In the U.S. It comes with a 1200 watt motor. It's also about $800.00. I'm waiting for the next redesign that I suspect won't be for a few more years. I think that the bag will top fill like the D series. I also hope that it will have a proper round coupling on the upholstery tool. Great machines they are.

I love white-coloured vacuums! It has that "clean" look. But I would love to see white attachments again. Many of my favourite vacs from the 1970's and 80's were white, but parts of these cleaners would yellow over the years. I wonder if these new German white cleaners will retain their bright white colour over the years. Does this Sebo easily roll over its cord/cable on a bare floor? My Miele S8 does not. :-(

This is a great vacuum and but it is better if you use the motor head with the brush on for cleaning hard floors

Sebo makes such great Satubsauger, which are even better than Miele.

I really enjoyed this. I might be crazy but I just bought the K3 2100W version in NZ at double the price of a Miele C3 Cat and Dog. What really sold me was the electric powerhead over the air-driven turbo head of the Miele C3. Time will tell if I made the right decision!

This video made me to consider buying a Sebo E3 Premium due to the ET-1 powerhead. Currently have a 3yo Miele S8 (also my first non-cheapo-PRC vac) with the turbobrush head, would be interesting to be able to compare performance on carpets. Currently on amazon for £290, would cost me £335 to buy it (£241 VAT-free + £71 shipping + £22 local import tax). Roughly equal to SGD600 which was what I paid for my Miele. How much of a gain is there jumping to the powerhead would you say Roger?

Would the D4 have performed better on the carpet? Vs the Miele C3?

IMHO there is no perfect Nozzle which will perform perfect on flour, and bigger debris and also on hard floor and on carpet. Its the same case with your tools at home you have to choose the right one for the work! But sebo seems to be a very high end and high quality vacuum cleaner, don`t have one, yet ;-)

Roger, I am not sure if you have found this but when I clean the stairs with the power nozzle attached directly to the D4, because it is so maneuverable, it is difficult to clean the stair without it flopping all over the place. The neck doesn't keep it stationary, which is great for carpets but more difficult when trying to clean stairs.

I would ten times over purchase a Miele vacuum over SEBO. Miele wand is lighter and more maneuverable and ooozes of quality build and a joy to use. The SEBO suction is not as good either. Miele filtration is MUCH better as well. The vacuum dealer will tell you they only sell SEBO products, and they have ALL the parts in stock. Gee, I wonder why? Cause if you buy a Miele, you walk out the door and never return, unless you need bags. No money in a vacuum that does not need repairs right? Buy a SEBO, and you can bet your last dollar it will need some sort of servicing or repair in the shop. Our Miele (Flamengo II) is almost 20 years old, and NEVER saw a repairman. It just works. Period. And that "Bumper'?, .....Google -Vulcano SEBO- then click on images link at top and then scroll half way down to see what your SEBO bumper will look like in a couple of years. Nice bumper qaulity! Pshhh

I'm sticking my neck out here and saying that ALL these vacuum cleaners are over priced chunks of not very brilliant plastic. The MAIN item that the expensive vacuum cleaners have are a HEPA filter (which is basically just a few fibrous layers of paper) and an electrically driven POWER HEAD. The rest is pretty common stuff. You can buy a much stronger machine for less than a third of the cost of a Sebo or Miele, but not with a power head. Just take a look at the Vacmaster Commercial Vacuum Cleaner 10L | Powerful, Compact, Bagged Cylinder Vacuum Cleaner, it's built like a tank! It is 'slightly' less powerful in terms of watts (but that does not translate directly into suction anyway. It does have a HEPA (Yippeee!) and will move around much the same as any other machine. Oh, maybe it's cord is not so long (so change the cord), or maybe it does not have a power control (how many of us bother with that I wonder?). But in pretty well every other respect it is the same. And there are several other vacuum cleaners out there that are similar. Longevity? well, I suppose if you are paying between £300 and £400 for a vacuum cleaner you would want it to last, but for my money, if a vacuum cleaner toddles along happily for less than £80 quid for a few years (by which time all hells been knocked out of it anyway), what do I care? So my opinion, for what it's worth is that there is a lot of song and dance around Sebo and Miele, Dyson and Shark, which is totally unwarranted. I just wish there were more units out there with power head. And yes, the Sibo power head is better than the Miele power head but really, at £350 or what have you, is it THAT good? At the end of the day, all you're doing is the unpleasant job of sucking up dirt.
