2000 Chrysler Sebring water pump. My goal is to provide videos that simplify the work and make the project look as easy as possible. I don't try to explain basic car knowledge. I assume people that watch my videos have basic mechanical knowledge.

Thank you very much friend for this video. I'm from Kazakhstan, this car model is not common here. I bought it for myself, I like it. but when it comes to repairs there is very little information. It’s so good that there are people like you who share information. I'm watching with a translator.

Mr gene I had replaced the inlet tube because it was leaking bad on the end where the housing it’s it was bad but now it’s leaking bad but from the end where the water pump it’s from the inlet tube seal idk why any easy way to fix that just a question,?

where does that ground strap go?

Ground strap goes from the strut tower to a bolt right above the rear timing cover under the power steering tank

i have a question was your car over heating ? and how did you know your pump was bad i wished you would have showed the bad water pump in your video please get back to me thanks great video!

It never over-heated because I saw water under the car and figured it was the weep hole on the water pump leaking. This is the sign that the water pump's seals are gone and to replace it. I recently changed the radiator on my truck because it would'nt stop over-heating. Now it runs very cool. Hope this helps.

+Gene Williamson (bigfootlivez) thanks for getting back i really appreciate it i have the same car and its overheating i just changed the thermostat and cap but car is overheating now i gotta change the water pump but not sure if its bad I'm getting boiling antifreeze in my reservoir tank i thought i had a bad head gasket so i put bars leaks sealer and now my heater core is clogged on top of the overheating so i might have a bad water pump but it sure ids a lot of work i did the timing belt i just didn't wanna have do it all over again but thanks for getting back!
