"Face the Nation" is the number one Sunday morning public affairs program. The broadcast is one of the longest-running news programs in the history of television, having premiered on CBS on Nov. 7, 1954. John Dickerson is the host of "Face the Nation". He also serves as Political Director for CBS News and is a contributor to Slate magazine and its podcast The Political Gabfest. tiffsaver Macarthur got cornered in Corregidor, Philippines and made a ran away. Then in Korean war was sent into retreat twice, first by NKorean and second by Chinese PLA. Those were scary experiences.

How many decades has Seoul had to move south away from the guns thirty odd miles away? There have been several attempts by North Korea to invade Seoul, including tunnels. It's difficult to feel total sympathy. Now, we are being blackmailed because of them. Are they at least trying to move their government? Have they practiced evacuations or civil defense like Japan, Guam, and Hawaii? I know the person in the street blows it off.

A kind man is few now aday, and love peace it not exist anymore.Let god bless those who suffer by intruder and creat war...punished these evil .How many war he till wanted to go. To many people already lose jobs, why??they donna to do useful things to develop economy for those who out of works. And let the world had a chances to breathe and has peaceful life.

The threat of us arming Japan and S Korea with nuclear weapons should be enough to get China moving on stopping N Korea. Same goes for us ditching the "one China " concept and have direct dealings with the Taiwanese government. Time to show our true leverage......

imhotep561 You love using scare tactics. You will be scared once you incurr a 500,000 dead casualties from Chinese nuclear missiles attack. China many times has said they can afford to lose 1miliion men in war. They manage to win against Japanese with their lost of more than 2 million men dead, while Japan lost 2million men during WWII.
