Can’t speak for others but i own a 2016 polo gt 1.2 tsi with dq200. It runs like a dream and u got to drive it to believe it. Moreover, i do the servicing and maintenance stuff myself and goodlord never asked a penny other than servicing. Till now it clocked 56k kms on odo.

I have a 2016 GT TSI. DSG gave up at around 60,000 kms- was replaced under extended warranty which is now over. Thankfully, the entire gearbox (instead of one or two components) was replaced due to my service history. Hopefully, it’s good to go for another 50k. Except for the DSG issue, car is built like a tank (at 70k kms -still feels and drives as it did in day one) and undoubtedly, is a hoot to drive. I have started with my modification journey now that warranty is over. I have mixed thoughts about it’s pricing in the second hand market. While I agree that 6 -7 lakhs for an old car with a documented DSG issue is crazy and impractical, it is the same built quality, TSI + DSG combination + mod-friendly qualities which brings up the asking price in the second hand market. In any case, people who go for it have to be ready to live with it and bear the expenses.

That's because they all know that the car is very fast and nimble to drive..it's a hot hatch and lives up to it's tag..It's extremely fun to drive and it's in demand..hence the cost..

One thing i want to ask iam getting a gt tsi 2015 model petrol version ?65k run for 420000 automatic but i dont know its dsg or torque converter and there is another one iam getting another one its 40k run for 350000 lakh but its manual iam concern

Bhai khali GT tsi ke price nai bade saree polo ke price up hoe han Mere Dad ke paas 2012 Polo TDI hai Diesel… and in 2019 he was planning to sale it and he contacted one of near car dealer. So dealer made all the estimation and said “ ki aap ko iske 2.4 to 2.5lakh mil jaye ge” and car 1.3 lakh km chal chuki thi….but my dad changed his decision and he didn’t sold it because i love polo like you❤…..so recently car is giving some issues so he is again making plan to sale it💔 so he again went to dealer (not the same guy) and the dealer is saying “ki aap ko iske 2.7 to 2.8 lakh to araam se mile ge” price increased 😅and almost 1.5 lakh km complete hone wale hai….and my dad asked for 2.9 lakh so dealer said ki toda time lage ga because 10 years complete kr lie car ne……so Punjab wali side sale ho jaye in 2.9 ……and he said ki polo 2nd ki demand zyada chal ri hai aaj kl😂 which is very odd thing. So POV: ki hume araam se abhi bhi 2.8 or 2.9 lakh mil re hai…vo bhi 10 years old car with 1.5 lakh km done😅…..My dad is happy because he bought polo in 2012 and its 2022 now and still he is getting 50% value of his car…and vo bhi VW ki Maruti ki hoti vo alag baat hai but VW jo car discontinued hai uska resale value 50% aaj bhi mil ra hai …its amazing 😂

DSG gearbox is expensive to fix I agree. But every car has its pros and cons. Pros here are more fun, lightning speed shifts.. . Cons here It can't be maintained like Maruti! Need extra care and need to find the people who actually know how to service the car without leaving a hole in your pocket! I owned GT TSI for 2 years. The experience I haven't been able to feel in any other car till date, in that price range.

I have used it from 2017, but the best car it will touch 190km / hrs after 6.5 years. It's still in good condition, but some small issues like staring rack .But best vehical .

What exactly you want to say in this video? I watched your video many times. At the end of the video you said same idea, buy a new car rather used one. Thumb rule : buying used car should do lot of R&D about service records, buy the car from authentic source e.g. family- frnds or known dealer, take help of expert mechanic to check the car. In any case good amount of risk is associated in used cars. Also buy such brands used car for which one can get spares easily and at reasonable price....VW group cars spares not easily available. I my self using Polo GT TSI DSG 2016 model and Rapid petrol manual 2017... Both are superb in all aspects... DSG gear box never created any issues for me or for my two relatives in Mubai...But best is rather buying used car one should buy small new car at least there will not be any issues... I hope Sir you are not using any VW group car. Regards

I was a polo owner , my car clocked 1.5 lakh kilometer and it has epc issues which none of the service centres sort out what the problem was, it was my only vehicle , car broke down 3 times in middle of the road , at last I thought to sell and searched for used polo gt.. mostly all the cars in sale are accidental or has some problems.. I even gave advance for 2018 polo gt 1.2 dsg for 9 lakhs but at last minute my friend found it was a total loss car.. Now I got brand new Maruti ignis.. exchanged my old polo for 4.5 lakhs , put another 3 lakhs and got new ignis.. yes the ride is crumblesome compared to my polo.. at least I have piece of mind and it satisfies me for a primary car.
