so if a dog has a yeast infection on his body could it be the protein source that the dog is consuming that determines if it will interact worse or better with the yeast that is present in the dogs gut?

Yeast feed on carbs. They love sugar. If you have your dog on a carb free diet (e.g. raw feeding or grain free biscuits) it might affect it. Yeast infections mostly flame up as there is another issue (like stress) and the healthy yeast flora in the gut is just multiplying itself as the immune system is weak in the moment. Try to find out the cause of the yeast growing and give probiotica so that you feed the healthy bacteria in his/her gut to help fight. There are natural remedies which help to build up a healthy gut flora. You can get professional advice from a complementary animal vet or an animal naturopaths. I hope I could help

Cool. But isn't this fungi also used for testing because it is a type of Candida which those of this kind cause the most infections amoung humans of any other type of fungus?

That is the official vocabulary for a stereo magnifier. It offers only up to 400 times magnification and it uses reflected light instead of transmitted light.
