Anyone else ever notice how realistic the Cougar attacks are in this game? No indication, no warning, your horse doesn't even hear it coming, just a tiny red dot that aggressively makes its way towards you. I loved that, Cougars are master killers, avoiding one irl would be near impossible, I Love you RockStar.

Arabian are skittish af. I prefer to use MFT, Mustangs and other War Horses. Its easier to handle during a gunfights. Plus war horse are pretty brave againts a predator

07:00 stoked seeing one of my clips featured in these compilations. I remember being persistent in using poison arrows to "preserve" the quality of the hide, thinking it would affect the payout from the hunting mission. It was one very tough bear, god bless my Hungrarian Helfbred... until she tossed me.

I used a poison arrow in order to preserve a perfect bison hide. I know it affects the meat but it's hard for me to shoot an animal only once for a perfect kill; I end up damaging the pelt.

My friend once got snapped down by a grizzly in a mission we worked our butt off to get it done. My horse bucked me off exactly at that moment so I wasn't able to help. Then right as the bear was about to eat her face I was able to shoot him with my rolling block. He wouldn't have died from that if he hadn't swung his head a bit further into my direction when he killed my friend. He collapsed and died right at the moment he would have instantly ended her. That was really really close.

Me and my buddy were trying to finish the challenges by hunting multiple grizzly bears. No matter what we couldn’t find any in their area. So I get the idea to get John drunk until he passes out. My buddy is saying there’s no way in hell that’ll work. I told him what do we got to lose? So we buy a crap ton of alcohol and start drinking in the middle of the night in the woods. What could go wrong? After drowning John in enough alcohol to kill a horse, he passed out. A few moments later he wakes up in the morning with a severe hang over. Next thing we know, we hear a grizzly bear charging at us at full speed. John was still in the getting up animation so we couldn’t react. What happens next is John is getting completely torn apart by the bear and the screen is still screwed up from the hang over. All I can think is poor John, getting mauled by a bear with a severe hangover. After managing to kill it, we decide to try again to see if it works. It does. My buddy apologized for his lack of faith in my plan. Moral of the story, the best hunters get their prey when blacked out drunk haha.

Funny story about that legendary gator, I was playing and I forgot to equip another weapon other than the Varmint Rifle and when I went to kill it, I shot it and was horrified to see that it didn’t do squat and it promptly chased and killed me. Came back later to pump it full of Shotgun bullets for some revenge but man was it embarrassing to mess that up
