Our Heroes set off on their epic quest to infiltrate the Witches of Destany's Keep... but first they want to stop and say "hi" to Anus Quiver. After meeting a pervert, the gang makes another pitstop to the Milkweed Trading post to check on Bread and Bonesy. What follows is possibly the biggest lore dump in the history of RPGs, truly a magnificent dump after Anus.

Absolutely agreed, i cant wait for them to finish redoing seasons 1 and 2, and to actually check out season 2 and the side quests when theyve been uploaded as podcasts. So happy its not going to just be ending due to legalese though

I love it when Mortimer rubs off on Grinderbin. That poor little mushroom emerged from the ground with no family and almost immediately got corrupted by the biggest liar in the country. I love a good corruption arc and I don't doubt that what Mortimer has taught to Grinderbin is gonna come back and bite that bard in the ass one day.

Scenes that speak to me as a DM: The stream of brainstorming toward the end where Jack is looking wide eyed into space as the players effectively hand him about 3-4 potential twists he could use down the line to make them feel like they figured something out. Sometimes a loose outline is all you need and players will come up with story ideas that you can snap into place down the line and that kind of back and forth story collaboration is the best thing about DnD.

Getting into Adventure is Nigh in Season 3 means getting utterly blindsided by running gags and characters everyone else is already familiar with and used to. This was a GREAT idea.

I'm a fledgling dm, and I try to follow Jack's approach, in that you always try to accommodate the players suggestions. You don't necessarily make things easy for them, but unless it completely breaks the world or the rules there's always a chance. It helps give the players a sense of ownership and agency of the the story, which is important for engagement, and as a DM it gives you the best opportunity for creativity and play as you try to relate a narrative around whatever whacky nonsense comes your way

Thinking back on it, I'm a bit surprised that the group didn't piece together that the royal family being certain that the group _murdered_ Fudge despite that fight in season 1 having been in self-defense would mean that the royal family's witness didn't see how the fight started; only how it ended, and Bonesy was the only person besides Dabarella that only saw how the fight ended and not how it started.

Never in all my days did I think the Red Letter Media Extended Universe would crossover with the Second Wind Universe. Was genuinely surprised to see Jack in the beginning. Great video and I am excited to see more!

Could it be that Mul Cutpurse was successful in obtaining the comet Lavendula, and used that somehow to make Bonesy?

Mul Cutpurse died over a century before the setting's current royal family came into power. He comes back in season 2 as a result of his staff housing his soul and cursing Grinderbin and Dabarella into reviving him, but they swiftly kill him (this will all make sense once they remaster season 2 and side-quest 2).
