One of Thailand's last little hidden gems - the secret beach of Chumphon province.
Only a handful of locals and expats alike know about this beach. Hidden away behind a large jungle area with only single lane dirt tracks that make it accessible from the passing main road.
The beach today was a tad wind swept after surviving a long monsoon season, although still showing her beauty under the midday sun and blue skies!
We swam out to the island approximately two hundred meters from the shore line. There was a swell of about three meters making it about a ten to twelve meter dive. The sea bed was alive with sea-life, mainly puffer fish and yellow tails, with the occasional ray and octopus. A successful dive until returning to the surface and realising the GoPro had been turned off throughout - Rookie mistake!
Anyway, we shall return over the coming days!
