A heavy night of "socialising" I very nearly wasn't able to muster up the energy to make the short fifteen minute journey over to Thunwualen beach today. However, after receiving lot's of lovely messages from the class of 2013 to 2015 over recent days I couldn't not do a beach video, for old times sake.
I feel very lucky to have been able to live and work here over the years, allowing me to discover lot's of little hidden gems and off the beaten track places.
Thung-Wua-Len is no exception. Generally speaking Chumphon is over looked by tourists and backpackers and still to this day is one of very few coastal towns that sits on the Gulf of Thailand that doesn't rely mainly on tourism.
Long may it continue. Chumphon you are special!
