Even though you could "kill" the Projectionist in chapter 3, he will always come back in chapter 4. Since in chapter 3 his body doesn't disappear when you "kill" him, it can be assumed that he's just unconscious. With that in mind, since his body was not only gone after you flipped that one switch , but the exit door was also open, it almost looks like he just got up and left once he was out of view.

Bendy was supposed to kill the Projectionist, but Ertyez did instead... *Oh how the tables have turned.*

Because this is a part of a major Easter Egg found from next chapter, it should be possible to clear this secret without hacks, but it needs lot of skill. In case somebody doesn't get what am I talking about, each chapter, starting from second, has an Easter Egg that will trigger a flashback jumpscare if done right. Doing this in three chapters, will unlock a special weapon in last chapter. And that is not even it: when you get back to first chapter after completing last one, you can access one place you could not in beginning. Nothing Major but it's worth of try

When you fought Boris it made me laugh so hard

So people, you may just be like “why did brute Boris go away when he died?” Well, I have answers. Brute Boris was officially killed, and went back to his inky resting place unlike the Projectionist. The Projectionist may not be dead, but paralyzed without power from his projector to help his body to move. I think he may make an appearance in chapter 5. It is either him or Tom in the shadow behind Piper, because they both have wires, I think it is more likely going to be Tom, though, because the Projectionist was on the edge of getting scrapped from the game, while Tom probably was part of the plot the whole time. Well, back to the main point, Brute Boris is officially dead, Alice’s body may turn to ink in chapter 5, and The Projectionist is not dead. DAYUM THAT TOOK A LONG TIME.

Events in BATIM are triggered by sight, not player placement. The same thing happens in the end of chapter 2. When you walk backwards near the area Bendy scares you, Bendy does not appear. So that is why the projectionist did not chase you.

If you look behide you after you kill a character in bendy and the ink machine where they spawn they won't come like the glitch in chapter 2 when bendy spawn in the ink puddle but you don't kill him and look alway from where he spawn and will not spawn. But like when you kill the projecter man he will spawn in the hallway like when the projecter man spawn when you go up the stair
