The door creaks as you enter your hideout, an old book jammed beneath an armpit and a fresh mug of herbal tea in one hand. The distant sounds of rain can just be heard as you slide your mug in place. You settle yourself onto the crimson sheets and feel your concerns melting away. Around you, the scent of wax and tea mingle in the air, the ambience joining with the faint scent of rain.
A gentle peal of thunder echoes in the distance. You curl up in the sheets, fingers flipping through to your bookmark, and within moments you are lost in the story once again. Time passes in tranquil relaxation inside your cozy hideout from the world.
