Isolated DNA is usually suspended in a clearish liquid, like seen in the vial Fury has at the end. Having said that, DNA from multiple sources is always stored in multiple vials, or gets sequenced and stored digitally. Having Fury pull a usb stick from a tombstone would be more accurate, but way less dramatic.

I personally always thought of “the blip” as the amount of time the victims were gone and the moment they return combined, because they seem to be going with the idea that no time passed for the victims 🤷🏻‍♂️

Once you centrifuge blood to separate out the serum or plasma, it's fairly clear-ish. It'll have a bit of a yellow tint, unless it's very lipemic, so that would explain it not being red. The fact that it's just a single vial, rather than a set of them for all of the avengers is the part that confuses me

Fun fact, the fully body widow cloak is a reference to LMD’s. In the comics they use a cloaking tech rather than looking like the target unless they are long term sleepers like fury

TWO things: 1. Fury will give Gravik Avengers blood. But will pull a Superman 2 -style trick and only give Gravik the blood from unpowered Avengers - Scott Lang, Hawkeye, Tony Stark, Dr. Strange 2. The Blip is the name of the entire event that common people referred to Thanos' snap. Blip includes the disappearance and repercussions during the 5-year event. The Snap is the first snap made by Thanos. Kindly like how the assassination of Archduke Ferdinand is not the entire WW1 but event that causes it.

Not just keep track of Skrulls. There are several Alien races living on Earth at this point. Asgardians? Meek? I was wondering about the refracting glass as well. Otherwise Fury's house was pretty weak for what I would expect for security. His car back in Winter Soldier had things to help you fight with broken bones and all kinds of weapons and safety measures. This house should have been an absolute castle.

3 possibilities of who Nick was calling "to finish this". From the most likely to the least: 1. He was calling Gravik, in order for them to settle it once and for all 2. He was calling Carol for help. And 3. He has been secretly forming the Secret Warriors to take on the Skrulls and he was calling a Shield agent he's met before that has superpowers, Daisy Johnson (I hope)😅😅

Blip is like WW1, Snap is like the assassination of Archduke Ferdinand. The latter leads to the former. So the Blip is actually the entire period while the Snap is the catalyst that causes it.

@@kamagoong Not really. The snap was Thanos wiping out half the universe. The time after Thanos wipes out the universe is referred to as “After the Snap” The event that brings everyone back is called the Blip. Everything afterwards is “After the Blip”

I think that’s Hulks DNA and his integration with radiation will negate the Skrulls ability to resist radiation and will create a weakness to exploit, he may just use human DNA to leave Gravik stuck human

Nope, it's not the Hulk's DNA. Fury wouldn't give Gravik the power of the Hulk. Besides, his DNA won't do anything to help stop Gravik. I think there's only one person that the vial of DNA could be to that Fury is willing to give it to Gravik. The only one whose DNA is capable of stopping the enhanced Gravik. And that person is Pepper Potts.

From previous scenes, it seems like while the Skrulls are in human form, their blood is red, but it starts converting after it leaves their body. It's not necessarily instantly purple.

Regarding the chess reference, a queen and a king CAN checkmate an opposing king without it being a draw. The example shown is the one scenario where that person did not know how to checkmate his opponent. Usually draws in chess with few pieces are a bishop and king; knight and king; or pawn and king, vs an opposing king

Gravik’s faction of skrulls didn’t have their plan to destroy humanity until after the blip, so they’d have no reason to replace anyone before that point. I think by the show’s logic, anyone who is replaced by a skrull and is on Gravik’s team was replaced after the blip

It could be one of a couple of reasons...Fury knows he's not "righteous" enough to wield powers properly, like Steve Rogers... or having powers would put an even bigger target on his head, even if it's something like a stabilized Extremis, that would be invisible until he's wounded or he is in deep enough trouble.

In the comics he has the infinity formula which makes him basically like captain America... I'm guessing he has had something simular, but there is more power in not allowing people to know that you have powers.

Fury and Sonya discussed the widows cloak in the car. It only works on the face so it is nowhere near Skrull level shape shifting. All a Skrull would have to do is say, "change back to your Skrull form" and someone trying to infiltrate them using the widows cloak would be screwed.

The series keeps jumping up ranks on my list with each episode ! Thinking of the effect the Harvest could’ve (kinda crazy Fury-Skrulls searching in a battlefield for dna), Sonya, the Gravik Skrull-Action, the G’iah/Varra Duo, the prolly later in Thunderbolts upgraded Widow-Veil, Fury being back-back, just awesome how much is inside this episode ! 🥳 Just can’t stop imagining Sonya bumping and dancing to UK Trap (should’ve been some Skepta Grime imo), reminds me of the end of Tropic Thunder with Cruise dancing to Luda 😂

Sonya Falsworth is the best character of the whole season. The way Olivia Coleman dispenses viciousness whilst speaking plesantly and being lovely about it is wonderfully Chilling. Reminds me of Judi Dench in the recent Bond films.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think Gravik ever actually drinks that cups tea he puts the sugar cubes in throughout the series so far. Talos mentioned him wasting the drink at one point
