When I lived in Las Vegas I got really sunburned. A man that lived there told me to put vinegar on my burned skin. It took the pain away and I didn't smell like a salad. A great thing to know

I know this is totally off track but my son had gotten really bad sunburn and I told him to put shaving cream on him, so he rubbed it all in his skin and took away the pain for him. He couldn't believe it! And then he took a shower after it dried after a little while. I remember when I first told him to do that, he looked at me like I was crazy! He's 14, so....LOL!

For wrinkles you just need to spray water No vinegar. After spraying both sides of the shirt with plain water just give the shirt a little stretch and let it dry on the hanger. Been doing it for 50 years and it never fails. I also don’t smell like a salad all day.

You can iron them or put the dried jeans in the dryer to remove wrinkles! Remove and fold neatly! Try to wear jeans four or five times before rewashing! Other uses would be: pour a tablespoon of vinegar on boiling rice to make rice fluffy and to avoid spoilage, especially on a very hot and humid weather; dilute vinegar with water and use it for washing hair to make hair soft and it will remove shampoo, soap and/or conditioner residue on scalp thoroughly.

These are all great, except that vinegar will probably dissolve the anti-glare and other coatings from eye-glasses or LCD/LED screens of laptops, computers, tablets & phones. Cleaner sprays for those like at best buy or staples, etc., say they will not harm the anti-glare coating, so I only use those to clean my eye-glasses, which almost all have anti-glare coatings. White vinegar is good for dissolving the invisible sulphite powder coating that is sprayed onto all fruits & vegetables to preserve them from spoiling, which should NOT be washed off until just before eating or cooking them. White vinegar does kill bacteria, so it's a much better cleaner for vegetables than water, but Strawberries absorb extremely quickly and must be rinsed with water after a quick soak in white vinegar, or they will taste like vinegar all the way through. They are extremely absorbent. If produce are rinsed off before ready to consume, they will start to decompose right away. That is why produce should NEVER be sprayed with water in stores. Someone with zero knowledge about these methods to protect fruits and vegetables made a rule in NY that all stores must spray produce with water everyday, which makes them spoil quickly, raising the price of produce in NY, because they don't last long once sprayed with water.

Yuck! The toxic cheap chemical that they call "perfume" in softeners and many other cheap products, are make in lab, is cancer causing. Not to mention it's nauseating, migraine inducing and terrible for lungs. Just use vinegar/water, you can handle the smell for a min or two, it won't kill you. But using that all those cheap nasty smelling products, can actually kill you. Not to mention make people like me nauseated and sick by being next to people like you!

@@williamgainor7602 I use a 24 ounce generic spray bottle. Really you could use any spray bottle and just experiment with the amount of Softener you put in it. You don't want it too thick because it would probably stain your clothes, but not too thin either. I spray my piece of clothing and then shake it out and it works for me.

But will not the clothes smell if vinegar? Dawn dish liquid is also a great cutter unlike most others. Remove pot and pans from from heated surface once cooking is done. Leave the to cook food into the pot is added work. Hot water and some Dawn pre soak your pots while you eat your meal. For your feet hand sanitizer with 70% alcohol will correct the bacteria that causes foot smell. Anything like sugar water will start to attract all bugs. May have to add soap or others for different bugs.

ALTERNATIVE: to remove wrinkles - add 1/4 cup fabric softener in a empty, clean spray bottle. Fill the rest of the bottle to the top with tap water. Shake well to mix solution. Put clothes on a hanger. Hang clothes either from a shower rod, railing, bed post, door frame, clothes line, etc., so that both sides (back & front) are accessible at the same time. Spray each side with solution, let dry, repeat if necessary. Clothes will be wrinkle free and smell great within minutes! TIP: do not over spray to the point the fabric is dripping. Do not use more than a 1/4 cup of fabric softener. If you do, clothes will become tacky to the touch and will attract dirt more easily. You may also develop skin sensitivity too if you use too much!
