I had a strong feeling this was gonna happen....just like last year Alot of people thought (including me) DK was going to be in the finals and even win as their lineup was op...They won a lot of lans, crushed teams , showed skills like running a support jugg and winning just how secret did with their strats...People were so confident in secret (not including me) that they forgot that anything is possible ...What a team dk was man and now secret , that's dota at its finest ....

DayzOfGlory Meanwhile, Newbee won TI 4 and CDEC got into Top 3 in TI 5......they literally had the same playstyle( Newbee - Deathball, CDEC - Early game aggression) throughout TI but somehow they managed to dominate all the teams without getting counter-played/drafted by any team like wtf seriously? lol

DayzOfGlory Analysts on Russian stream said that problem of Secret is that they are not a team. It were just 5 good players playing together. And any good TEAM will win them and this was proved by EHOME and VP.

RookieN08 I reckon a lot people underestimated them because they weren't a treat and were thinking they would get eliminated in the early stages and i got to give it to cdec using that play style (thats chinese doto for you, not going with the trend).....They even had the wildcard entry and played so well. I feel they knew that people will not study them well like watch replays and such compared to secret or eg.... I like that fact that we had the unexpected because cdec are setting a really good example and to be in top 4 finishing above secret ig cloud 9 etc is just noiceee.......

This is TI 4 all over again. Secret is basically DK who got focused hard by all teams and they just constantly get counter-drafted/played. While, CDEC is like Newbee who somehow managed to get into Top 3 despite having the same exact playstyle throughout the tournament lol. But at least CDEC's games are way more entertaining to watch compared to the TI 4 deathball strat games.

Steven Del Río Torreblanca Agree, deathball was for VG's captain RoTK. Newbee found how to counter, was favorite since beginning, but after first group stage nobody pay attention about them. At least this time is EG of Fear not of Mason, I'll hope hime bring EG his first TI.

RookieN08 thank you. No idea why theres so much hate regarding secret. Personally, I'm a VG fan and I have nothing against secret. In fact, I respect them as a team considering their team synergy is pretty awesome. Observation from TI5: Same with Na'vi and DK for the past 2 TIs, every team had Secret in their sights. Every team spent time doing nothing but preparing to fight against Secret. In a competition where every one is preparing against you, it isn't surprising that you're going to get ousted early.

It wasn't really that excitng. S4 was on a massve tilt throughout the entire event, I have never seen him play so poorly as he did here. It was disapointing to say the least. I'm hoping he'll gather his senses soon and get back on track. A legend like that should be way more on top.

In terms of performance and drafting s4 was the worst player of team secret at this TI. I didn`t expect them to win the Internationals at all but considering their individual skills and team play and strategies they should have been able to advance and especially defeating a team like VP.

Considering I was going for Secret, I give so much credit to VP. Illidan is one of my favorite carry players to watch, but VP won as team!. S4 made way too many mistakes in Game 3, aggro blinking into ES & Lina stun, and was always out of position in some key team fights. Zai, RTZ, and Kruoky played well though, but I am just wondering what is going through Puppey's head right now after being one of the top teams to enter into TI. But TI is not like any other tournament, so I hope Secret learned a huge lesson for the next International. I wish VP nothing but the best as they move on. Respect to fng as well. There is always next year.

S4 dropped the ball so hard in this game - his QOP should've been having the impact that VP's storm spirit had. Arteezy was fighting alone with a dazzle and a dark seer. Perhaps the drafting was wrong but that QOP was so ineffective

G played out of his mind this game Although, what confuses me is, in the second game, Secret got beaten by VP with almost the same lineup, with silencer instead of a drow. Why did Secret let them grab those heroes again? (Unless it's mind games by Puppey...)
