You can actually beat an Extreme skirmish without building your castle by recruiting enough units and keep healing them and your lord if needed. The most important units are ballistas, Arab horse archers (can be substituted with European archers), slingers (optional, effective to kill armored units), and assassins to kill enemy lords. Just bring your lord and army far from the castle, outposts, and castles and you’re safe. Only some melee units and archers are following you and almost all the enemy units are targeting your castle and doing nothing

love your vids! I hid my Lord once, but Saladin (I think it was) still took my keep and place where peasants gathered so my economy was in shit and no way to build up an army or in any other way get out (no allies at the time). So hiding the Lord wasn't helpful

I think L or Ctrl or Shift + L, cycles through the Lords on the map, so hiding is useless
