I remember a time when our HR make a speech to enroll students for some technical course. I raised hand and ask : "You are telling us this course is interesting, but why no one wants to follow". I was expecting he would answer "that's why I am doing this presentation today"; and the message would have come thru. But instead, he started yelling at me "I know why you are here ... and I know very well your father". Then came my answer "So do I" I think I can be part of a "speech and debate club" !

I swear this is a true story: My family had no financial issues but we let our kids dress as they desired. My daughter was in elementary school in class with a substitute teacher. Apparently the regular teacher had left a note for the substitute saying that one of the girl students in the class was homeless. My daughter was called after class to talk with the teacher and she still remembers the sweet pep talk about how not to give up hope and that things will get better. She still didn't want to dress up more.

Clothes are just pieces of cloth to cover ourselves. It is rediculous that we should be shamed by the style.

Idea for another story with an evil teacher: A teenage girl is being bullied mercilessly at school because of her ethnic background, yet her teacher has absolutely no sympathy for her. In fact, he practically encourages the bullying. Being an outcast in school, her only friends were expelled over th past few months, one was black, one was gay, and another had learning disabilities. A sympathetic teacher and a newly hired janitor feel pity for her and try to befriend her. One day, the good teacher catches the bully tormenting her and she gives him detention. The evil teacher, however, confronts her over what happened, making it clear to her that he is a well respected man in the instutition and a pillar of the community, and that he can end her career if she messes with him. He allows the bully to go home, much to the good teacher's frustration. Before the girl goes home, the janitor gives her a bracelet for safekeeping that he intends to give to his wife for her birthday, telling her to put it on the top shelf in her locker, which she does. The next day, the girl is confronted by the evil teacher who accuses her of stealing one of his answer book. The girl denies it, but when she opens her locker, she is shocked to find the stolen book inside. The bully even claims that he saw her do it. The janitor and the good teacher show up and reveal that the bully is lying and that he planted it in her locker himself. The janitor even shows footage on his cellphone showing that the bully opening the girl's locker and putting in the stolen book. It is revealed that the bracelet the girl was given had a hidden camera on it. The janitor had overheard the bully bragging to his friends about how he was going to get the outcast kicked out of school for stealing and that he had given her the bracelet to put in her locker to catch him in the act. The girl is grateful to the janitor for helping her get evidence of her innocence. But to their horror, the evil teacher deletes the footage. It is revealed that the bully is his son and that the two have conspired together to get her kicked out of school, just like what they did to her friends. He knew he couldn't expel them without causing a scandal simply because of who they were, so he and his son framed them for various crimes against the school, including theft, drug posession, and vandalism. He smugly says that everything they did was a service to the school ridding it of undesirables who have no right to education. He drags the girl into the principals office. In the principal's office, the teacher demands that the girl be expelled from school for theft. The girl continues to protest her innocence. The good teacher and the janitor come in and defend her, saying that they did have proof of her innocence, but the evil teacher deleted it and that he and the bully were in cahoots the whole time. Angered, the evil teacher demands that both lying slanderers are fired, but the principal is a reasonable man and asks that he be left alone with them. Outside the office, the evil teacher smugly tells the teacher that he warned her and now her meddling will cost her career. He also intends to make sure she never sets foot in a school ever again, whether to work, learn, or teach. The police arrive later and the evil teacher tells them to arrest the girl, together with the janitor and the good teacher, claiming that they confessed to being her accomplices. Instead, to his shock, they arrest both him and the bully. It is revealed that the janitor had given a copy of the footage to the good teacher and that he was wearing a body cam that revealed the evil teacher deleting the footage and him ranting about how he and his son got three other undesirables expelled. The janitor is then revealed to be an undercover police officer who came to gather evidence of the conspiracy after the three students who had been expelled and arrested for the crimes they had 'committed'. The good teacher had gone to the police to tell them of her suspicions and the officer was hired as a janitor to work undercover and investigate. Angered by what he sees as a betrayal, the evil teacher rages against the good teacher for her actions, but the good teacher speaks up saying that his actions have proven that he has no business being a teacher. The principal says that he will bring this issue up with the board of directors and he assures the evil teacher that he'll be banned from teaching. The bully is also expelled from school. The undercover officer apologizes to the girl for the deception and not telling her the whole truth earlier, but she says that she understands why he did it. He assures her that her friends will be released and the principal says they will be reinstated.
