When I was in college, I worked in restaurants. Don't EVER insult a waiter. They can spit in your food, they can drop your food on the floor and put it back on your plate, they have quite a bit of control. If you don't like the restaurant, don't go back. But never insult the staff. It can really boomerang.

Lovely fairytale, but let me tell you the truth : people like Alanna never change. Never. They will just hide their terrible anger, while their hatred and toxicity will grow even worse.
