Living on the Texas coast, this will go with our warm weather as a simple one pot dish. A good bottle of wine and some crusty bread and oil will make a wonderful dinner. Glad to have you back. I thought you might have been chased away by a resentful flock of ducks! As always, Well done sir.!

A dish I can (and will) do. My old veins can't deal with the duck-fat dishes, though I love watching you make them, wishing I was 20 years younger, lol. But this sort of thing is doable for me, and a real treat, I'd wager. I love how the specificity of these dishes is near-infinite.

Love this recipe and your videos. I finally pulled the trigger last month and bought me an Opinel no.8 just like you have and use in your videos. Love it! So much so I bought one for each of my grown kids as well. This is an excellent knife. Thank you for your great videos and recipes. This patata one is in queue here at home for next week.

Well done for a great presentation of a typical Spanish “plato de cuchara.” I love them and they tick the boxes in terms of being healthy and economical. If you get the chance, I would love to see your take on “lentejas.”

I agree with the last comment. I love this channel for its great tasting but unfussy food. It typifies the food of Spain, including Mallorca, which is a lovely place to visit. Do you ever get to Galicia, Pete? Wonderful food there.

Potato stew is underrated. First I ever cooked was vichyssoise, as cooked by the late great, and one of my personal heros, Anthony Bourdain. This I suppose is up next

Lovely. The cutting/cracking of the potatoes is the good way to release the natural starch inside the stew. Got to try this soon. Great video as alway but a little short on words and humour compared to your other videos if I may say so. This is NOT a criticism.

Tried your recipe for Frit Mallorqui (without the lung) very nice but my adult kids didn't take to it, this looks like it could work for me, though never had chicken and pork together in a stew before.

Another great inspiration Pete, can't wait to have a crack at it! On the subject of stock what's your opinion on the cartons sold in the supermarkets in Spain? I've never had the courage to try them but don't have the patience to make a stock whilst on holiday. Are they any good? Ken

Hi. I was looking for a way to contact you. Just a couple questions. Does you camper van have aircon? I lived in Spain for twenty years and know how hot it is even in a tent. Second question does that scooter fit in the back of the campers storage. There’s a camper like yours on eBay and I fancy touring Italy and Spain again as I’ve been in the Philippines and getting a little homesick. Good show as always. Thanks
