You're my hero man. I thought of mirror image turbos as far back as the early 90s, but it was way over my head to pursue it, yet you made them happen. I O-ringed a fist gen Chevy smblk and had to scrap it because I couldn't get the heads to seal, but you're making that work with that killer block you got. I even used a kit by Bo Laws here in Orlando to add wrist-pin oilers because I've built an electrically-driven Novi-2000 centrifugal to boost mine with and here you've come up with your own wrist pin oilers too. Way cool man. I love the way you just engineer to get what you want and that you have the means to get it done. To me, that's what it's all about. Those pistons and dry-sump are awesome. The only thing I'd try to do in addition is electrically drive and interlock it all which I know is a bit out of your field, but I'm sure it could be done. I'm big into PM DC and BLDC motors for that kind of thing. Save all the hp for the main-drive is my motto. Belts are a bummer. Anyway kudos on all you've done man because I really do think you do some outstanding work. I hope you never stop.

Reminds me of when i was a kid in the 70's. My dad had a friend that ran NHRA prostock and my dad helped him out from time to time. Back then, there were not a lot of go-fast catelog parts. You had to make everything. My dad and he were aircraftmachinists. As i recall, they ran a 327 small block stroked way down...i have no idea - 260 or 270 something ci. Concreted heads, o-ringed deck, rocker and crank stud girdles. Dry sump pump. This application was all about high RPM horsepower. Had to run a magneto for the high revs. He ran it through a race prepped powerglide and outback was some outlandishly low geared rear-end. One shift at the 1/8 mile mark and it was RPMs to the 1/4 mile mark. Not sure where the RPMs capped-out at but dad said it was in the high 4 digit numbers. I was a boy then so i don't have real numbers. What i do remember was the freaking huge tunnel ram and header pipes the size of tennis balls. They were moving some serious air. So old school.

Way back when, guys used to run the 283 because of the crank pin overlap between the main and rods. The other thing is that they had small journals, which allowed for more meat around the bolts and thicker walls on the mains when compared to a four bolt block. The distance between the outside edge of the main cap and the inside of the main journal is thicker than a four bolt 350 block, which gave it more strange hope. The rod ratio was better, the Pistons were lighter and all that added up to a motor that would rev like crazy, and make killer horsepower.

I've also seen a few tricks import guys use like coatings that we V8 guys could use, we don't need oil sicking to the side of a block where we don't need oil to lube or cool down...

would not applicable lol... it only makes the power it does due to rpm , which means that small of cubic inch it needs alot of love separation angle because you cannot stuff that much pressure in to a small cylinder at low rpm due to turbo pressure is low at low rpm, now add to that tire rotaional rpm to gear ratio to torque converter multiplication rate.... look at how much it cost just for a true tranny to handle that level of power constantly.... the oil squirt on piston underside is nothing knew at all... notice he used a thick height piston to absorb the heat generated from compressed pressure of boost, bhe used a big heavy rod because you need more weight to handle the high rpm, it's .5 longer than even the best ls sbc rod and probably 2xs heavier
