Thanks for the update! I have 3 girls and I'm their beautician lol I usually keep them in braids but they all have long thick hair and when I give them a silk press it puffs up a few hours later. I know they say heat train but I haven't tried that yet because they get the press once or twice a year and braids they can just get up and go. I literally follow your steps but without the products but I'm going to give them a try because humidity is crazy on their heads.

Girl, I still use the Ion Heat Protecting Smoothing Spray to this day. I saw you use it back in the day. Now that my I stopped coloring my hair and it's completely natural (gray coming through) it still helps those stubborn hairs.

I don’t use edge control on my edges while I’m wearing a wrap either it definitely gets into the hair once you start combing through it or while wrapping it up at night.

How do you get you ends to hook and stay? I’ll press it and my ends are trimmed but my ends look blow dried. I use 380 heat, 4c hair. Should I be using hairspray to get it to hold? Thanks guys 😂
