As a portland security officer, i see this as an opportunity. This robot will need its own security detail to survive portland. Honestly i have no clue what you guys were thinking. That robot will be a money pit.

Yep the next headline will be "Rob stolen and graffiti on the new mural". Followed by the headlines "Parts from Rob found in homeless camp next to stollen stripped down vehicles from the garage it was protecting" Now if Rob could taser or use pepper spray..... that would be awesome.... oh and notify police just incase its a slow night and there happens to be enough officers on duty to respond, since with our extremally high tax's we cant afford to higher more officers... oh wait that's right we voted to defund the police force...who voted for that? Did they gather all the criminals and have them vote? I miss Portland, the Saturday market, Beerfest, Bluesfest, 4th of July fire works at the water front, Rose festival, eclectic bars, a foodies dream, dragon boat races, and so many other events. I just cant bring my self to put my property or my family at risk in order to attend any of these things. How fun is the Bluesfest when the whole time your worried about if your car is going to be broken into or if its even going to be there when you are done. I can not enjoy these events worrying if my family is safe walking from the event to to where you parked. Plus it smells so bad.

Nice if they were going for a mobile security camera. I don't see it going long before some punk either damages it, vandalizes it, or immobilize it by simply knocking it over. Then taken apart and sold for scrap.
