It was the end of the 2018 season, the water level by ends of October was very low and boats had to be taken out of water using a crane. Despite doing everything calmly i have managed to overlook that the back strap had shifted and got stuck on the shaft. This is something that everyone should avoid as the pressure can cause the shaft to bend and even cause the boat to slip out of the straps and fell down. In this case the 25mm ss shaft did good and did not bend nor did the boat fell down. We were lucky. The mass of the boat is approx. 4.5t meaning that the rear belt was making a 2.25t force on the hull, roughly if we distribute the weight between the hull and the shaft, it could have easily been around 1t of pressure on the shaft...
