At 31, I miss the late 90's and early 2000's when i truly believed that our government cared about us - the people (remember folks, i said "believed"). It's very sad to see that political drama, insentive of political salary, and overall distraction from progress is more important to these politicians. I hope we one day have politicians that are truly open and willing have a dialog with people of a different poinion than their own. We will then, finally, be able to find a comon ground and begin the process of restoring this contry. With all that being said, maybe just fuck it?
