We've been around since cars have been invented. Just Google mobile mechanics near me. Look at the reviews & check out their websites. The big companies are using dealership guys, mobile technician & lube techs to provide service so you might as well cut out the middleman if you can & go right for the small business owner if possible.

@@sadmanh0 Tesla is a relatively new company & is all EVs. ICE vehicles have been around for over 100+ years so they are what we are talking about.

never heard of this mobile service either. how does pricing compare to using a tow service to an auto shop and then do repairs?

@@alch2555 Most mobile techs have less overhead so price are comparable but mostly more economical then going to a shop or towing & the dealership. There are different levels of techs (dealership, brand specialist, (most) general service, lube) so make sure to pick wisely for the service required.

Pretty cool stuff. Being my own shade tree mechanic, and relying on my local dealer to keep my main car up and running, looks like a worthy alternative.

We offer complimentary valet service at the dealership I work at. We pick the car up, service it, wash it & return it.

I would be very leery of working as a mobile mechanic even working for a well financed company. The stories I have seen on youtube and just the nightly news, just a few weeks ago a mobile mechanic was shot to death in my city because the customer didn't want to pay the bill. I feel its a little too scary and unpredictable, especially with the way or society is today. I'll stick to working in a shop.

Only conventional oil. I would hope for an over $100 oil change & filter service, it would come with synthetic

Tire rotation $40, air filter $30, convenience of service, inspection , probably only a $40 oil change. 6 liters of oil and filter thats only $10 for it to be done for you.

The your mechanic guy put the wrong oil in the GM van. Those GM engines call for a dexos approved synthetic oil, not a conventional oil.

100% agree with you. Currently leasing a Durango and the main reason I will not lease another FCA product is b/c of the bad customer service at the service departments.

$134.11??? I can make (yes, I but going to a shop, haha not me, I'll make a disaster) that same work with $42 (labor) Without counting buying the oil and filter for my 2000 Ford Expedition. US Prices are very high HOOONEEEEEYYY....

I am not speaking about all Mexicans cuz I do not know all Mexicans I am only speaking of the mechanic the auto mechanic. My brother has the very send experience with a Mexican mechanic. Mexican workers have no sense of ethics on anything that they do they just want to get it done so they can get paid that's all of them that's their culture This is not a racist comments this is the truth.. now I do not like Donald Trump at all... but when he speaks of Mexican mechanics he's telling the truth.. I will tell you again do not take your car to any Mexican mechanics on this planet you will be sorry
