@@Wheels_tech.... Sorry I am not good in Hindi. But I am also a Ford user. I feel Ford can do much much better in India. Just by giving a car 6 airbags its not safe. Please go to GNCAP website and read the full crash test report of Figo Aspire which is rated at 3 stars. It has an unstable structure and can't hold further loading. That means new Figo B526 chassis is weaker than Fords MK I ie 2010-2012 Figo chassis

Ford Figo in the hatchback is the 2nd best performance car after polo gt Ford ecospsort with so many features , at reasonable price , good petrol engine still consumer prefer brezza and venue Endeavour the king of suv with features that a Mercedes has , good performing engine and good options still manages half sales than fortuner The mind set here is towards brand name and goodwill only , ford is underrated company in India and is not widely appreciated maybe because of mistakes in the past but now have upped their level but still everyone only wants Maruti , hyundai or Toyota that’s why soon we may even see ford pack up as they have already shared controlling shares in India to Mahindra

I own a Ford Figo 2019(petrol). I agree to all the points made in this video. Ford Figo is an amazing car but it is highly underrated. People in India should consider buying this car, atleast take a test drive and you'll find how good this car is. When I was planning to buy this car, everyone said that Ford cars are not good. But I can say for sure this car is far far better than it's rivals. What I like the most about this car? Its handling, comfort and how much fun is to drive this car!

I hope ford bring something to rival Creta and Seltos because Ecosport is aging now in terms of design and moreover it doesn’t fall in that category as well. If someone from Ford is looking then please bring Escape or some other product to rival Creta and seltos because I’m waiting for Ford to bring something and holding my decision to buy Creta or seltos to about an year from now

Ford won't do it. Fords product manager for ASEAN Mr. Jim Farley is an idiot. That fool spent 50x times the budget that he had spent in India to China. And now what Chinas Ford is at 13 billion loss. The issue is not because Ford cars are bad, the Changan Ford regime gives more priority to locally built Fords. So global Fords share is very less means too much loss. If that stupid Jim had the smallest brain of at least an ant. He should ve invested in bringing products like Focus, Kuga aka Escape, Ford Puma, Ford Fiesta etc to India.

I bought my 2016 Figo diesel base model for 6.17L onroad. RIP all who bought the 9.8L swift. I have had 92k flawless kms on the odo now I have never felt wanting for more power and have always been stunned by the 24+ kpl efficiency.

@@prarabdhalondhe6670 For the extra price of 1.5 odd lakhs, you pay for a diesel, you can buy petrol for the first year and do 30 K in the first year. Secondly petrol engines are always less complicated so less replacement costs.

Whatever he said is not right. Best VFM car oh.. yes.. but its not like it is best. 1. The new B156 Figo got only GNCAP 3 stars. And its structure is rated unstable unlike 2010-2013 MK I Figos that had a stable structure. So before blindly counting number of airbags. Try to read Figo, Aspires full crash test report. 2. Interior fir finish and overall quality is easily worst in segment. Swift, i10 Nios, all have much better quality plastics, way better and consistent shut lines, and much more modern design as well. 3. Being cheap dosent always mean better. Like Indians love projector headlamps, its a good safety feature as well, no driver side arm rests. Boot space is lower than previous gen Figos. 4. The new Figos gearbox is no where near as good as the ones in Swifts, Gi10s and all. Its just an OK gearbox. Also lack of diesel Auto is a pathetic omission by Ford. I have even more to say.. but just think about these for a moment. See if a product is not selling in India, it has some reasons. Here its completely Fords fault.

Ppl who used to use ford never ever choose other than ford. In india ppl ho with majority, with public opinion, and no doubt maruti suzuki and hyundai r the largrer than any other brand and most ppl use those two brand, and when some one goes for a new car he has suggestion from his friends or relatives who r already a maruti or hyundai owner, so he simply suggest those cars. Yes innitially there is a problem regarding service cost but now its reasonable. Ford built quality is far better than suzuki car. Figo is 1100 kilograms where swift is ony around 850kilograms.

Altroz has 5star NCAP, but in the basic model they don’t provide central locking . If one presses the lever door opens while car is running. Not sure how it got 5stars. They should consider all features(not only crash test) before giving rating

The main selling points of this car are diesel gives a good mileage of 24 km/l on highways. Powerful diesel engine and handling. If you like a powerful small car then go for this. Pros: Good Build quality Powerful diesel engine 1.5 liter (same ford ecosport diesel engine) Amazing handling (main selling point of this car) Susepnsion is soft Service cost is low 5 years warranty from Ford on mechanical or electrical components Max speed of diesel 180km/hr Top end blu variant has 6 airbags Cons: Small wheels Petrol engine looks powerful on papers only. When 4 adults sit in the car it struggles to pull. Ride quality is not good on bad roads Clutch is heavy and deep Rear seats are not comfortable for tall people. Car feels small when tall people sit on rear seat. Front seats are comfortable but cushion is a bit hard when compared to swift Turbo lag below 1500 rpm. Car does not pull below 1500 rpm ( that's common in all diesel cars) No bottle holders in rear doors No android auto and Apple carplay

I have been driving the Ford Figo 1.5 Tdci 2015 model, just after it launched. It's a gem of a car. Maintenance costs have been low, ample power across the rev range. But the new model is showing its age now, ford needs to refresh the car, get better interiors. Manufacturers need to learn for Kia, the success of the Seltos. Bring a refreshing new car, with great equipment, engine and just price is right.

I kind of regret not buying this car last year. I was 5 minutes away from buying this! This is the best budget drivers car in India. The steering feedback is excelllant. It is even better than the polo. The only downside is the infotainment system that doesn't have Android Auto or Apple carplay. And it's not exactly in the premium hatchback segment. Both petrol and diesel engines are really good!!

I was a Ford fan. My first car was infact the josh machine. Then I moved to a different city and bought Ford Figo. Unfortunately, the gear rod broke when I was changing the gear from 4th to 5th. Lost trust in Ford. Now moved on to VW.

It's mostly an end for Figo/Aspire AT in India due to tax levied on a 1.5 Ltr engine .Saying this since I was one of the last to own from 2019 stock and now with the removal of few essentials from BS6 manual titanium trim to price competitively. It's clear it will not be offered in future. Definitely the AT was a very unique value offering below 10 lacs with convenient fun to drive element amongst boring cars in the segment. Infact not many knew that Ford was offering AT that too with new gearbox. Ofcourse Ford themselves to blame as they never advertised it for some reason.

Ecosport is still the vfm with good resale and Ford might not leave as it also exports more vehicles than it sells in india

The problem is with facelift 2020 models.. as they have removed many good features.. why ford is giving 10 yrs old style features and interiors now when others are giving more advanced

Miss leading title as 5.40 base model is not having 6 air bags, also not sure if 5.40 is for petrol base model. As a ford car owner I know the top end can get expensive.

Own Aspire Diesel since May 2016. No issues. Re 4300/10000 kM avg maintenance comparable with any other brands. Great milage, powerful AC , good interior, good audio. Indians prefer resale value, Ford cars have poor resale values.

There is no doubt ford is potential car giant...but we expect some posh and powerful models from it...but they not considered except endy and mustang...need mass market game player product like fiesta,focus, fusion, edge, escape..etc..

Does ford has increased its car price in july 2020 by Rs. 10000. Does they are not delivering the car booked before july 2020 due to this price hike. Does their intension is that customer should cancel car booking and rebook the car due to this price hike. If you have any update on this please reply.

This car is a delight, it caught my attention but most ford showrooms i can say are flop, I went to enquire about this car to test drive it, but the showroom condition was not up to the mark, it was poor (may be they kept that way coz they suffer poor sales, who know) they had no figo blu let alone no figo, there's only one ecosport in the showroom, the showroom lady told me i have to wait a month to test drive a figo blu, my goodness, I appreciate ford cars too but this is not acceptable so I ended up buying altroz xz coz the showroom standard was better and I test driven altroz xzo also, it's a gold standard. I've been owning tata cars for many years, now I want to own ford cars also.
