Fun fact, those are also used in quarries as QC to make sure the finished rock material is all within spec. We would put them in a big machine that would shake the rock down the sieves. Dump out and weigh each sieve, calculate the results. It was a fun job.

If you live near a daiso. They have a small set of screens in their garden section for about $1.70. They only have large, medium and fine. Sifting available but they work

Man I really love what you're doing. I try to explain to people about our grasslands that are gone over here in Savannah GA. The fact that most of our long leaf pine are gone because we don't let the fire go & burn out the undergrowth that the trees need to even drop cones. They are resistant to fire & NEED IT. But I've gotten sick & can't be in the sun too much anymore. So I love watching you do this. Keep making videos & I'll keep sharing to hopefully help people understand where we live.

I had no idea on this planet those came from gold panning. Lol. We use them in mj harvesting to sluff off smalls, seeds and then at the end to stuff off hairs and debris. I always wondered that the extra sizes were for. Lmao 🤣 at myself

So glad someone has this as their passion! Too many people just like guns or knives online. Not that they aren't a necessity also, but the builders in the world are valuable to me. Thanks for your work!

Yeah me and my dad both had some really fine sieves like this for soil. But we also use them in the 420 industry as you say. Would break all of our buds down in the sieves that had catchers underneath. Would always scrub it with a toothbrush everyday. Miss scraping up all that Keif powder and pressing it an old Jack press with cellophane and aluminum foil. Would be a very light blonde color. Mmmmhhmmm 🔥🤯🌱🌠

These types of screens are also used in soil testing. I used to work at materials testing company. We tested the soil the concrete and steel. We tested mainly for density but I used a lot of these screens or at least some that look exactly like it. They have some big enough to fit over a 30 gallon trash bin! I used to sit in a chair and use my 3/8 and number one sieve to get the aggregate out of my soil. Kind of miss pushing the soil around with an old wood block that was the shape of a smooth River Rock from being used so much

I built all mine with parts from THD. We were going to the diamond crater in Arkansas and it was during the time of covid so they didn't rent any sluices. And I didn't find that out until we got there at the evening before. So I was in the parking lot at 11 at night building sifting sluices. With the expensive wood at this time I can't say which way would be the cheapest. Buying online or making your own

Yea help the earth by buying and eventually creating more plastic waste ... Here's a thought don't use plastic when you can use wood or bamboo. .. buy some bamboo steaming pans and affix some screens
