YEEEAH. Yup, this movie dropped just before the world shut down lol. It ended up being the highest grossing movie of 2020 by default. Loved this flick. Such a great entry after 17 years being dormant. Nah, this one wasn't directed by Michael Bay, but he did make a cameo. While the action for this one was toned down quite a bit from Part 2 (the budget was much lower this time around), I did appreciate this one having a bit more heart to it, and more of a story (even if it was a little retcon-y lol). I liked that they acknowledged that they're both older and can't be doing the same stuff anymore. But honestly, they still got it. Oscars slap be damned, both Will & Martin confirmed Part 4 is in active development.

So this one was actually not directed by Micheal Bay himself. I believe he stayed on as a producer, but it is directed by two guys, Adil El Arbi & Bilall Fallah. They will also be directing the 4th one.

Part 2 is probably the one people think of the most when it comes to "Bad Boys" in general, just cuz of how over the top is..... But when you look at the reviews, Parts 1 & 3 were much better received than Part 2.

This is definitely my favorite Bad Boys movie. Made me excited for the fourth one! Gemini Man is the Will Smith clone movie you’re thinking of. The action is cool and Will is great, but everything else in it is rather meh to me. But check it out if interested. You should definitely watch Hitch and Hancock, though.

One little detail i like very much is when Rita shoots Isabela she never blinks. Not even once. You can sense the anger and the fury in her eyes from before when she said "i'm gonna kill her myself".

51:00 The problem with that explanation is that in the first movie, Mike reminded Marcus that they were partners for 6 years, thus since 1989. It doesn’t match with the timeline of this movie.

Enjoyed this one it felt right along with the first a bit less action id have liked a bit more personally but i did enjoy it in the theatres its the last movie i saw in theatres.
