I discovered this passage in the Bible the day I made this video! It was a really cool confirmation to me of what I was doing! I must not have understood it in the past, but it makes clear sense to me now! Job had a visit from an evil spiritual presence. This spirit inspired fear in him (made his hair stand on end) and tried to instill doubt in the goodness and wisdom of God as Job faced his trials.
Job 4
12 Now a thing was secretly brought to me, and mine ear received a little thereof.
13 In thoughts from the visions of the night, when deep sleep falleth on men,
14 Fear came upon me, and trembling, which made all my bones to shake.
15 Then a spirit passed before my face; the hair of my flesh stood up:
16 It stood still, but I could not discern the form thereof: an image was before mine eyes, there was silence, and I heard a voice, saying,
17 Shall mortal man be more just than God? shall a man be more pure than his maker?
18 Behold, he put no trust in his servants; and his angels he charged with folly:
19 How much less in them that dwell in houses of clay, whose foundation is in the dust, which are crushed before the moth?
20 They are destroyed from morning to evening: they perish for ever without any regarding it.
21 Doth not their excellency which is in them go away? they die, even without wisdom.

After six years of infertility, I had a dream that we would have a baby, and I knew what I needed to do to prepare my body for this. I woke up and immediately wrote down my experience because I really felt it was true. A few months went by and I re read that entry thinking I was just being silly. One year later, almost to the very day I wrote that, I had a positive pregnancy test. I forgot about that dream, but thankfully I had written it down. Our son was born on Christmas morning. Miracles do happen! This wasn't my first spiritual dream, but probably my most significant.

How miraculous is that that your son was born Christmas morning❤ It is amazing how members experience these gifts of the Spirit. As it says in D&C 59:4 4 And they shall also be crowned with blessings from above, yea, and with commandments not a few, and with revelations in their time-they that are faithful and diligent before me. D&C 35:8 8 For I am God, and mine arm is not shortened; and I will show miracles, signs, and wonders, unto all those who believe on my name.

A-mazing video Daniel! Thank you so much for sharing your personal experiences, they have inspired me. I remember one dream I had years ago, which I know was from the Lord. I was out in a large field and over in the distance I saw a bull. I knew that if he spotted me he would charge, and sure enough he did. I was absolutely terrified! The bull charged closer and closer until his face was right in front of mine, then the voice of the Lord came into my mind with these words “You just grab his horns and I will do the rest” So I did and (the Lord) flipped the bull over! Now the fascinating part of this is, I didn’t even know you could do that to a bull!!!until I Googled it the next morning! I immediately knew what the Lord was trying to teach me. You just start to do that hard thing and THEN I will give you the power to accomplish it 😇

I have been attacked in my dreams and it still happens now I thought I was the only one going through this thank you for your testimony I know it is hard to talk about this things because nobody wants to believe this a story your dream where you were running away from something that had happened to me when I first started to read the Bible

Interestingly, it seems like in other cultures people are much more willing to talk about and believe in these things. I think that Satan uses different tactics in different parts of the world.

From my limited experience, this seems to be the more frequent modality in earthly, secular countries: 2 Nephi 28: 22 And behold, others he flattereth away, and telleth them there is no hell; and he saith unto them: I am no devil, for there is none-and thus he whispereth in their ears, until he grasps them with his awful chains, from whence there is no deliverance.

Thank you for sharing some of your spiritual experiences and insights. I too was attacked in the night by an entity that I could feel hated me through and through and wanted to destroy me. This evil being knew what I was planning (though I had not shared my plans to serve a mission with anyone). I was preparing to go on a mission (served in Munich Germany 1980-1982) and was saving money and preparing myself spiritually. I had seen through the adversary's other tactics to dissuade me from going on a Mission. Tactics like the anti-mormon literature that was showing up in my mailbox. So the adversary tried a direct approach. When I was falling asleep one night, I could feel an evil presence so I prayed that Heavenly Father would protect me. Eventually, I fell asleep. Just as I was waking in the morning, I felt a full on attack. At first I tried to call my roommate's name for help but then my tongue became bound. Thinking that I was going to be destroyed, a voice came to me saying, "Pray to your Heavenly Father, and He will help you". Instantly, the evil presence was gone, even before I had time to pray. I got down on my knees and thanked Heavenly Father for delivering me. Satan and his minnions are real. They are aware of us and persist in trying to turn us away from the Lord's work. Usually, their ways are more difficult to detect. Like you said, they use deception, distraction, discouragement, and make you doubt yourself. They are desperate and will try anything to stop the Lord's work. In the end they will fail. May we, the members of His church, even the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, continue to strive to follow the Savior and help in His work.
