Even bigger key is that his arrow was 575gr. FOC is everything with penetration, but the broadheads help a ton as well. My setup this year has my arrows weighing in at 605gr and I'm not even scared of hitting shoulder with my single bevels.

That broadhead put in work! I’m the chef at a brunch spot called milktooth in Indianapolis , and always thought it would be sick to do a hunt and cook with you dudes! Anyway you could do some charcuterie with the unit you have for your freezer add a fan and humidity sensor and should be good to go. A little salt, brown sugar, & time and you could have Something like a venison country ham, mocetta, or a salami would be real nice.

One thing I’ve learned in my almost 4 decades or hunting. You really don’t need to brush a blind in like that. They know it’s there brush or no brush. They usually don’t spook at something stationary like that especially after seeing it a few times.
