soy gordo T Simple: get a dress that has a solid structure inside the dress, so that it's always in the cone'ish shape. That way there's no loose fabric to get caught in the wheels. Such as those large ball gowns.

One feature that would make these truly awesome - optional straps to hold them on to your feet. Then you can step up/down curbs, over obstacles etc. without having to stop and pick them up and put them back down again. With appropriate detection/calibration. Version 2 maybe. Then they would really be like back to the future rollerskates.

I'm thinking these would be suited for inside use only (or on really smooth concrete). Outside, you'd probably want a hoverboard or a Z10 or similar. Pretty cool technology though.😉

I have these and a real hoverboard. I ride the segway shoes to and from school every morning, and it takes 5 minutes to get there because we live on very flat land, and my school is right across from my neighborhood. all I wear is a helmet, but not knee pads or elbow pads. I did in the beginning, but I got better at it, and also I looked super dorky. I store them in my locker, and when its time to go home I take them out. its really fun, and I have had my share of skinned knees and elbows, but have never sprained or broken anything. these are really amazing, and you should definitely get them. they are pretty expensive, but they are worth it , because you can travel short distances, and they are quick charging. i charge them overnight, every night.

Brute Better I think that would be nice however if you fell it would be a lot harder to recover because the wheel would think you are trying to go faster and make you fall while roller skates only move when you do. Hopefully they will make it better for that in the future

A lot of people think like this. But in my experience, it's a mistake. All electric devides that you have to stay stand (like scooter etc), it's almost impossible to real world use (streets, bumps etc) without effort in all your muscles (much more than just standing).
