Seiko lume never disappoints!

I own the SSK003J1 version and absolutely love this watch . I did switch out the stock clasp for a Marine Master clasp and definitely gives the bracelet a more premium feeling. I do agree with you that the watch is top heavy but it’s comfortable. I also own the SKX009 and it’s really cool owning both and comparing the two .

I sold my Rolex GMT to purchase an Omega Planet Ocean. In the meantime I bought this same model Seiko, the blue 003 is it? I think it is stunningly gorgeous, better looking than the Rolex! As for the stamped clasp who cares? On the wrist you cant see it and Rolex did the same for donkey's and no one complained.

I bought one and no it's not a Rolex GMT homage, Seiko went their own way with this design. I was a little disappointed in the bezel and dial colors. The bezel is so reflective and the bottom only looks blue in oblique light. The dial only comes alive with a deep blue color when strong light is directly on it, like in the sunlight. Otherwise it might as well be black. As the review said it feels top heavy in part because the display back make sit thicker. You can get a thinner solid case back, but that takes away half the fun seeing the movement. I wasn't particularly impressed with the "Jubilee" style bracelet, I replaced it with a Miltat milled clasp bracelet from strapcode. The crown is very robust, but it does not screw down. So even though it's water proof it is not a diver watch.

I think you have the incorrect box. You have the old one. New 5's come with the new logo.

I thought authentic seiko comes with a guarantee card. I'm concerned yours didn't.
