Had mine for about a month now. It was perfect out of the box and has been dead accurate! I couldn't be more impressed with it.

I bought this watch one month ago and I can't be happier. I know that they have made improvements to the dial,índices,lume,bezel insert and the finish of the box with respect to the first ones that launched the sale. Mine arrived perfect,no scratches,no glue,perfect alignment,and bezel and crown action are very smooth. I also noticed that the termination of the indexes is much better. Talking about accuracy, mine is +3 seconds a day. The customer service is simply spectacular,4 days from China to Ireland. It has caught my attention that in the video you can see the crystal with a strong blue colour and in mine it's not appreciated so much,in fact,the crystal is one of the things that I like the most about this watch. I bought my Rdunae back in March. Has zero QC issues. No scratches, perfect bezel alignment and no glue. Maybe theyre getting sloppy as they try to keep up with demand.

I've bought two of these - one for me and one to give out as a gift and both were flawless. They came well packaged and well wrapped in protective film. Like someone mentioned, looks like it was a watch that was returned to WR Watches then sent to you. I would contact them about it - they are super good at getting back to customers.

I know that the Willard is an iconic Seiko design but I prefer this case without the crown guard. I must say that it looks much more proportionate than the turtle and the date window is a nice touch.

Most every style comes back. Being new to the hobby I enjoy seeing homage watches. Researching and comparing what it was back then to new versions now I think makes it more interesting to hobbyists.

I have a more recent version of this watch and its even better in terms of the attention to detail. The strap is 19mm, the crown which is located at 4 rather than 3.8 or 4.2 has lock written on it like the original Captain Willard. Oh and mine was scratch free. Superb watch and a better homage than the Steeldive which gets far more press.

Got mine a week ago. Love it. First thing I did as with most of my watches: I put it on a CWC Nato. 18mm fits it perfectly What I like: it's smaller and more comfortable than the SRP777 Turtle. No QC issues on mine. Keeps great time at +3 sec/d. Great looking watch for a great price. What I don't like: Lume on hands and bezel lume pip is weak, at least weaker than on the dial. Besides that. An very cool watch

Thanks for the review! First things first: Mine is without flaws, certainly without scratches & alligns perfectly. If you got issues, you should send it back? Some remarks - Most reviewers actually appreciate the tapered band 🎀, so do I. In my opinion it is one of the best available in the style at the moment. Very close to the original swiss tropic. Very comfortable to wear, I have no irritations, although I can't tolerate every ribbon. Even if a 20 mm band (see the clasp) was used on the 19 mm lug, it fits the watch very well imho. (The case actually can best be described as concave and not convex, when viewed from the back. And where is the C in Retangular that I hear? ;-) Lume: In fact the lume pip could be better to be equal to the dial; the watch is by the way equipped with C1 Superluminova (not C3), it stays readable during the night. The hands are sharp and very nicely brushed, unlike some blobby hand sets at Seiko nowadays. The original set of hands was polished all over. By the way, the producer of the watches does the San Martins, too. Check WR Watches for the portfolio.. PS: about the new seiko STO you recently had on the grapher: if you get such funny results, with dots all over the place, try turn the watchhead 180° - dial up & crown towards the micro. Give it good contact w/ little pressure to the metal detector. You should get clearer results. But, watching the good results here, and these ave on the seiko, always keep in mind: they all come unregulated. And - the specs for the TMI NH3x are in fact a little more narrow than the 4R3x specs, that seiko gives.

Sorry to hear about the QC issues with the watch. This homage diver has been on my radar for quite some time and I might just pull the trigger before the end of the year. However, my personal experience with Chinese homage watches has been pretty favourable. Recently, I picked up the Merkur Conqueror (black dial version) which is an homage of the 1961 Seiko Laurel Alpinist from the Merkur official website and was presently surprised at both the design and quality of the product. I do love this case. And bravo for fitting this with a matt bezel. I just don't like glossy bezels at all. If only it had a 20mm lug width.

REALLY super review with the closeup examination of case and dimensions. i've this rdunae and the 62mas and love the quality, exactness to original seiko dimensions, and the quality control. seiko reeditions of all these 60s/70s divers are for the most part 'reinterpretations', another word for screwing up the original design. and when they do an original design exactly they charge at least several thousand dollars, except you get lousy current day seiko quality control. these rdunae 'homages' 6105 and 62mas are spot on and i love wearing them on tropics. they are better than both the originals and current seiko remakes. thanks for going over the dimensions and showing how exact they are to the originals.

Just picked up the Seiko Turtle Origin Modern Re-interpretation Silicone Strap SPB317J1. I also have the seiko turtle deep blue Batman, Your coworker has great taste .

The scratches on the case side and especially under the lugs make it look like it was a watch that was sold to someone else and returned to them and then resold to you. That many scratches under the lugs indicates strap changes by the previous owner. The people at Retangula assembling the watches do this all day long and are not going to put that many scratches on the watch when installing that strap.

If you are on the fence about buying this watch because of this video, don't be...just get it! I've had the same experience as everyone else commenting on here, ZERO QC issues. This guy must have accidentally been sent a demo, or a return, and maybe should have reached out to the seller before making this video, giving them the chance to right the situation. I ordered mine from WR watches back in November, and it has quickly become one of my favorites in my collection. The attention to detail is outstanding. I also have had no problem with the supplied tropic strap. In fact, it's one of the most comfortable straps I have worn. I can wear this watch all day, and hardly know it's there, except for the fact that I catch myself staring at it constantly because it's such an awesome watch ( Thanks, Seiko!) Yes, they did squeeze a 20mm strap into a 19mm lug, but it doesn't look bad at all. If that sort of thing does bother you, Uncle Seiko offers period correct reproduction straps in 19mm. I have been nothing but satisfied with this watch, so don't let this guy's experience discourage you.

This whole mod world is fascinating to me. Even though I’ll probably never be a part of it, I love everything about watches, so this way I can enjoy an area that I won’t participate in ( who knows ) you might get me going. About the homage thing. It does seem reasonable to buy something like that for a discontinued model. Seiko isn’t losing out. Fans gain. Seems win win. Keep up the great videos

I'm betting Seiko re-issues that one sometime soon. And from the looks of those scratches on the lugs, I'd say they used their own crappy spring bar tool on it at some point.

I don't. think that is better because the 6119 movement is more durable than that crap NH35. Sorry sir for that but the screw down crown in that case is the only advantage.

Rdunae 6105 homage watch is JUNK! Bought one and ended giving it away. The bezel action was sloppy, felt tiny, had lots of back play and was misaligned. I have 3 other 6105 Captain Willard homage watches and each one is much better quality than Rdunae. San Martin great quality, worth the extra money, Steeldive good quality & costs less that Rdunae, Heimdallr good quality costs about the same as Rdunae. You have other choices, do your research.
