The Seinfeld episode with the wedding in India, where events are presented starting at the end and leading backward in time to the beginning, is based on the movie "Betrayal" with Jeremy Irons and Ben Kingsley, which begins at the end of the story and ends with the beginning. The screenplay was written by Harold Pinter. A character in the Seinfeld episode, I think the groom, is named Pinter. This wouldn't be a side-by-side scene comparison, so doesn't belong in this collection, but it's another clever movie reference in Seinfeld.

Well, to be bluntly frank and honest, clever uses of the footage that went into crafting this piece of nearly perfect montage of movie segments, which merged beautifully with the Seinfeld clips, to be sure, that said, where I feel where the proverbial ball was dropped was in the lack of Schindler's List. I mean, seriously?! The English Patient is one thing, but how can you even remotely forget to include such a timeless art and memorable piece of cinematic wonder as Schindler's List?! It just doesn't work without it. That's just not right... especially where the whole Jewish angle is concerned. Don't mean to sound rude, & as much as I surely love the "show about nothing", but for me, at best, I'd say this was more like Fool's Gold... which would be perfect for Seinfeld's zany antics! Decent attempt, though.

You have missed two (that I know). 1. The train sequence in "'Blame it on the Rain" in which Rochelle, mid meal, is asked to sign her check, but when she realizes her signature doesn't look good and asks to redo it, but is refused, is the 'Bubble Boy' episode. 2. In 'Prognosis Negative', when Harrison Ford is waiting for the phone to bring him the news, and some asshole hogs the phone, is exactly like the 'Seinfeld' 'Chinese Restaurant' scene.

You have to have lived through a certain time period. Futurama is the same way. Tons of references in it belong to 1960s-1980s culture, nerd culture of that time, and movies and other issues. Basically, it stops being funny and just starts being a weird show when you're too young to know anything about those eras. Same with seinfeld.
