"The Opposite" is the 86th episode of the NBC sitcom Seinfeld, which was also the 22nd episode of the fifth season. It aired on May 19, 1994. This was the first episode shot for Season 5, but it was intended to be the season finale. This is the last episode Tom Cherones directed. Andy Ackerman would take over as the primary director the following season, and hold that role until the end of the show's run.

"The Opposite" was a great George episode. Doing the opposite got him a job with the New York Yankees. The best part was him telling off George Steinbrenner. I know it wasn't really him, but that was every Yankee fan's dream to tell him off. It was mine anyway.

I just want to write that my name is Josh and i want to write that Seinfeld is my favorite half hour sitcom. I want to write that reruns of Seinfeld came to the Comedy Central Channel in October 2021.
