WE DID this in my neighborhood, we erected a stop sign, where all the neighbors felt one was needed on a residential street. City road crews had no idea. It worked, too,.....slowed drivers down, improved safety. It remained up for almost 2 years. It was only discovered when the City repaved the street.

When Newman's mail truck gets turned into the Hindenburg -- that was definitely pushing the envelope, even for a Seinfeld episode. One common thread to so many of the episodes is that usually, they were the cause of each other's suffering. Kramer and Elaine each contributing to "the fireball" that negatively impacted Newman, for example.

Lil story about this scene, its was me and 3 of my teamates from my robotics team, we had turned on the TV to try and find something to watch and we were flipping through channels and landed on Seinfeld and just said fuck it and left it. eventually we just end up forgetting about it and start talking and one of us says "What's Kramer up to?".... we all look at the TV to see this 2:45 and we all died laughing because it was so out of pocket and so random.

This was maybe the funniest scene of Seinfeld when Newman mail truck catches on fire. Just image the creativity to come up with this bizarre script. You adopt a highway, then you widen the lines, then the paint thinner used to unwiden the lines spills, then Newman catches on fire.

Larry David is quite a genius at figuring out these hilarious scenarios.

@@themonsterunderyourbed9408this is season 8, no Larry. These wacky ideas are more from Seinfeld

Idk why, but Newman singing in his truck reminds me of when that singing guy swerved off the road and flipped over into thr ditch. At least the singing guy took it with more dignity

And yet people say friends is the best sitcom of the 90s. I dont remember Joey being this funny, or enjoyable.
