I love how George's character can change on a whim showing how fickle he is and that trait is perfectly portrayed by the brilliant acting. Another great example is the rock climber episode with the Tony character.

3:21 I love those long, drawn out dinners with friends on Fridays or Saturdays. Everyone is still chatting and enjoying the company, some are still nibbling, some are enjoying their buzz. Then when you pay the bill, you have the option of taking the party to a bar/lounge, or back to someone’s place, or just calling it a night and heading home because that long dinner was enough.

I know it's just a show, but I wonder if 'Simons' is a reference to jim Simon's, renaissance technologies, the winningest hedge fund year after year. They employ literal geniuses, and have a bunch of restrictions to even invest with them, if they let you.

Did George take into account the taxes he would pay on his short term investment. Since less than year its taxed at his normal income tax rate, lets say 35%. He owes $2,800 in tax on his trade come tax season.
