Serious question here. How can a black hi vis be safe with loads of moving traffic? I mean it might have reflective stripes but it’s no good on black unless it’s at night, you could easily be missed because it’s really not that “hi vis”

A place I used to work at, the managers & supervisors used to wear a black Hi Viz...... wasnt too bad during the day but I worked nights so we had people wondering around a yard (some areas were pitch black) wearing black.... great idea....

I watch magnet fishers. They get loads of mixed metals out of the cut and rivers. They always get collected by a scrapper. What happens to that mixed bag when it gets to your yard??? Love you both. In all honesty you are both very knowledgeable

16:15 - Surely that is overweight? Kerb weight of 2006 Passat is around 1600KG. The beavertail must be 2000KG+. Already 100KG overweight before you add the weight of the driver & equipment etc. :/

I just noticed a car on the back of a skip loader. IT IS DANGEROUS & ILLEGAL TO USE A SKIP LOADER FOR TAKING CARS. SKIP LOADERS ARE FOR SKIPS ONLY & NOTHING ELSE THIS IS A SERIOUS BREACH OF HEALTH & SAFETY LEGISLATION SHAME ON YOU FOR ALLOWING SUCH A CRIME TO HAPPEN IN YOUR BACKYARD OR WORSE STILL IN A PUBLIC PLACE.

What the hell. Why did they destroy that Volvo metal convertible. It’s a super nice car with a leather interior. Scraping it like that is a disgrace. I have spent so much time in such a car, identical in every way down to the body color. Is super sweet and they try to lift it by the roof. Stupid lowlifes.

Why are radiators only worth less than a fiver each? Why is Copper the only metal going up in value? I think you could do a day or a week in the life of a tatter, who does not have money , and expensive toys behind them, trying to pay their bills, and not on a Director's salary.

@@HWTaroniMetalsLtd I took six radiators of various sizes and a washing machine, all for thirty pounds. Surely the metal is worth than five pounds a radiator? You always talk about giving the best price, it should be for benefit of the customer who has collected the metal, not all for the scrapyard! You should give more publicity to your local tatters.
