Using Combat arts to dodge a sweep is the most alpha thing imaginable.
@Mj0Skyver2 жыл бұрын
@Goncalo Fonseca Using the Jump button, obviously. The cool factor is using the leap animation of the Combat Art itself as an alternative to what majority of players would normally use to evade a sweep attack's hitbox: a regular jump.

@darknessdevours58273 жыл бұрын
I always love seeing people be confused about Gracious Gift of Tears because I know the answer is incredibly simple. It's literally just that you can only get the Tears by using the Mortal Blade on the Dragon, which is why the Blade is also called The Gracious Gift of Tears.
@littlemoth49563 жыл бұрын
@@darknessdevours5827 People also don't seem to get the symbolism of it. The dragon is crying not just because you shoved a sword in its socket, but because you rejected its gift of immortality and in return receiving the true gift: the tears which can sever immortality.

I always feel so bad for fighting the dragon. His mangled body, slicing into his eye, and yet still with how gracious this creature is, I do not want to fight him. Makes me glad we can return him to his rightful place in one of the endings.
@AelfricBlack2 жыл бұрын
You’re helping him. He’s confused, angry, wounded, off-balance. Sekiro at this point in the story found his own new balance, beyond simple loyalty, and he’s setting the world back in motion, allowing for death to come back and renew all that was lost to the rotting immortality, including the immortal dragon.

Ongbal, i got some serious personal question for you, i am asking this because i want to learn the art of Sekiro: 1. What kind of practice that you do to master deflection,mikiri counter, sweep attack dodge, and all dodge with such precision? 2. how did you memorize each pattern of the attack, even tho the enemy might randomized particular sequence of attack. 3. How did you time the deflect perfectly and consistently? 4. How did you get such fast instict to react to a certain split second attack? I know some of you might answer git gud, but being better at the games requires not just practice but also the knowledge to know and make sure we do the trifles right, perfection is small things done right, if we improve by practice over and over again but we miss the small details that make big difference, all the git gud mindset wont apply

The sword is Moonlight Greatsword
@Mj0Skyver2 жыл бұрын
It's not just in Nioh 2. It's the design of the sword called Shichishito (Seven-Branch Sword) which has been used in other media before, even appearing in games such as Tenchu 1 and 3 and also Okami. In Sekiro, it's the closest that we get to a Moonlight Greatdword with its texture and lighting.
