Lies of P is way, way easier. You don't even have to parry in Lies of P if you don't feel like it, even though it's certainly a game that heavily rewards parrying. I beat everything in P by just dodging and using charged R2 bonks with the police baton handle and puppet axe blade; couldn't be arsed to parry. Moreover, you can **grind levels** in P which much like Dark Souls means you're never truly forced to learn a boss. It does have some very tough bosses in comparison to Dark Souls, but you can circumvent their challenge in much the same way. Sekiro on the other hand provides little to no recourse when you're stuck on something. It's just like "well, this is it".

Demon of hatred, Isshin Ashina, Sword Saint Isshin, Father Owl are much harder than bosses at this point. Dlc bosses like Inner Genichiro, Inner owl and Inner Isshin are harder still.

I am actually surprised no one mentioned this, but you can actually double jump on them instead on jumping away when they do a sweep attack Oh and if you want to get the good-ish ending, you would not want to fight that boss just yet. First go to the Dilapidated Temple and go around and eavesdrop. Then to talk to Emma and she will give you a bell which you takes you to Hirata Estate. There you fight another Owl. Then you can get Everblossom which gets my fav ending.

I found lies of p way easier, the rally mechanic ( guard regain) made it very forgiving compared to Sekiro

you do jumping mortal draws bc they're a little faster but it also has the same damage as empowered mortal draw. No one knows if it was intended or a bug but they never patched it out.

I've got no clue why somebody said doing a jumping mortal draw is faster. I think what they meant to say is that doing a jumping mortal draw deals more damage

If you finish fountainhead palace, you will miss the chance of unlocking optional endings. One of the endings guves you an extra boss.

Google how to get to two optional bosses just to not miss it, and yeah, you'll miss one if you get the dragon tears before that

i finished sekiro and lies of p. there is no way lies of P is harder imo. normal enemies were really easy in that game (compared to sekiro), like 2 bosses were hard. hardest by far was the electric woman, i dont remember any other bosses that were particularly hard

On 2nd playthrough whitout Kuro's charm game becomes 2 times as hard. Ng+ already makes your posture go up very fast, but if you dont pick Kuro's charm it gonna be much much harder than any FromSoftware game by a massive margin.

Sekiro is much easier ( until you install one of the many amazing Mods !!) If you focus on parrying in LOP of course. Then of course, all you need is the 2 Dragon Sword and then it's Shinobi Pinnochio all day !!!

Doing good the next boss is really easy so I can’t really give you tips you can beat it first try after that is gonna be the hardest boss in the game and for that I recommend stacking up on healing items like rice and grass and beads to give you more health there’s also a mask you can get that turns exp into damage points so you can get that I’ll give you more tips when you get to him

Sekiro is way easier. Whoever says otherwise like @SubmitToTheBiomass is completly wrong. Sekiro just plays diferently and is much easier to understand, much more consistent. Your recovery frame are much faster and you can cancel the previous attack at up till halfway in the animation. You can parry shuffle, as it has a 0.5s parry that gets shorter for every taps where you don't get hit. You can cheese lots of bosses too. You just can't overlevel against a boss. After you've beaten sekiro once, you are already good. All further playthtrough are challenge runs and speedruns. Lies of P need a mix of parries, dodge and heavy attack. The recovery frame are criminally longer then the games pacing and and what you'd expect from the animation. The parry timing is 66% the length of sekiros, and you can't shuffle. If you tap, the animation is one frame long and enemies hit harder, you must hold. Lies of P enemies attack are cursed. They are overtuned and the animation defies physics and fight against all of your natural instinct, making it quite hard to even know when the attack will end. They also all end in spring attack (really fast), so you can't react to when the attack actually start. The only people who think sekiro is the hardest are those who are bad and just played game on "easier mode". Sekiro is the least punishing game, just buy money bags. It has the shortest checkpoint distance. But again, no holds bar, everything allowed, Sekiro is the hardest. But if you play the "intended experience", Elden Ring Lies Of P DS3 DS1 ... Sekiro I'm placing DS1 above DS3 because it has more jank. If what you want is to beat your head against the wall till it breaks, sekiro is the easiest. You just need a perspective shift. The game can be made significantly easier when you have someone just teach you it's basic and how to play Sekiro. TL;DR: *SEKIRO IS THE EASIEST TO GET GOOD AT, AND BE CONSISTENLY GOOD AT THE GAME AS A WHOLE, NOT JUST AGAINST A SPECIFIC ENEMY. AND PLAY CONSISTENTLY WELL, EVEN ON BAD DAYS AND NOT NEED RNG AS MUCH FOR PERFECT FIGHTS* It's a very clear game to learn. It's a 3 button rythm game, with very well telegraphed attack, and clear animation. LOP also needs a perspective shift from sekiro and bloodborne. But it's mostly: Don't just parry and hold when you parry. BTW, I love Lies of P. I challenge runs all the fromsoft games and it's a pet peave when people judgge a game difficulty by the "do whatever you can to beat the game experience", rather then " the core gameplay without any skips or ways to make it easier".
