I like the Tetra Whisper pumps. Have a 100 gal unit feeding 6 5 gallon buckets. Some of the others are really obnoxious for sound. You can use multiple Whispers in a system to provide redundancy. If the pump is above the tanks water won't flow back up to it.

HI, what size of stones are you feeding with this pump? Will it work with 4" size discs in all 6 buckets?

wanna ask question, if we put a bigger air pump in a small bucket with single plant what would be the negative impact? If any? The pump which is designed for 5 gallons bucket to provide air thru air stone and we are feeding that much air to a single one litre jar. Will it create problems??

how may hours in 1 day does your air pump open? is it 24 hours open up to harvest?

Read your pump instruction manual. All of them state that you should place the pump ABOVE the water level. Don't spend extra money on check valves!

Mr. Greenpump Check valve is inexpensive at my place.
