Selena did it first in fashion and outfits!!

NO..there wasn't an auction! Selena's outfits, personal items, cell phone and red Porsche are on display at the Selena museum in her home town of Corpus Christi, Tx. There is also a statue of her looking out into the Gulf Coast and of course there is a big monument where she was laid to rest. She did have fun with her band cause it was a family..literally. Her husband played guitar, sister-drums, brother-bass, father-manager, mother-helped design outfits and she was super close to everyone else.

Selena was ahead of her time. Period. Fashion, social, media, the music industry would all be so different if she wasn’t taken from us so soon.

Fun fact: All those outfits she was wearing, she designed and made herself! (With the help of her seamstress of course) Her bras, she would glue the rhinestones, sew on the beads, and everything else herself. Fashion design was another big dream of hers aside from her music career and starting a family. She eventually opened up 2 boutiques here in Texas selling her original clothing designs. Unfortunately after her passing, they were closed. Most of her iconic outfits you see in this video are now on display at the Selena Museum in her hometown of Corpus Christi, TX. You have to make the trip to corpus christi and visit the selena museum. Very informational and alot of her personal outfits. Some times you can catch her sister susan or her dad. I remember when i went her dad walk in and it got quiet. It was an honor to see her dad in person. Her sister was there and taking pictures with everyone. She's cool. Its worth the trip. Dont forget her statue and gravesite. Very beautiful. I live in san antonio tx. 2 hrs from corpus christi. First thing we do driving into corpus is visiting the museum. She was so young and full of talent. Pls make the trip. I promise you wont regret it 👍
