Selena was one of the first women to break in a male dominant field, Tejano. She would have been bigger then all the Latin artist. She was & still is our Latin prized possessions, our sister, our daughter, our best friend, our Latin queen. She’s still broken record with your music. Selena will live forever in our hearts. Thank you for honoring our Latin queen 💜 🎤 💄

You're right and As much as I really loved and admired her based on the law of the most high there shouldn't be any statues or graven images. That's scary to me Michael Jackson, Abraham Lincoln, MLK and any more have these same things. They are making false Gods all over the place.

Taking both inner& outer beauty into regard, she was definitely in the top percentile of beautiful women. Not just women, PEOPLE.She carried herself in the most classy way, yet she was open & accessible.Humble, friendly, and could even be a bit of goofball.Charming is the word I'm looking for.Charisma for days. Not to mention that SMILE! Selena's hard to top.If she's your #1 beauty, I wouldn't be mad at you. She's a good choice!

Really liked when you heard what I heard, back when the new Regeton came out. I still credit Selena, from her music, they found a new branch of music, to entertain Latinos. It was a mix of rap, hip hop, in The New Regeton. And yes lots of Cumbia!!! Cumbia is from Colombia 🇨🇴!!! Venezuela 🇻🇪, Colombia 🇨🇴, and Mexico 🇲🇽, just made it so big!!! Tejano music is Mexican music, but a hint of American flavor. In a other reaction, you noticed it. When she said “Con Sabor”. It means with, “Flavor”. 03/15/21.

That’s why she is called the queen! THE Selena. And yes, the song was inspired by reggae, she was a fan of that music. Her music was very interesting and a first of a lot of things. She used her American/Chicanx/Texan upbringing to influence her music...and what kills the most is that during her last concert she said I’ll see you guys soon and then she died less than a month later 😭😭😭😭 what could have been!!!

I just watched the new Selena netflix series, so I'm revisiting your Selena reactions. You said that you were wanting to come to Texas to see the museum, but I know covid messed up those plans. If you ever do come, I'll drive down to Corpus Christi to get a chance to meet you. It's a long drive, but guess where I'd be coming from? The town of Lake Jackson, which is where she lived for almost the first half of her life. If you watch the first episode of the Netlix series, it all took place here (although it wasn't filmed here). The house she grew up in is right around the corner from my house right now. I was actually born in the same hospital as her, in the same year as her. I knew her English songs well, but I'm just now really getting into her Spanish songs. Watching the show and getting more into her music is making me so sad that she's no longer with us. She was on track to be one of the biggest stars in America. I'm not saying that she wasn't already a huge star, because she was.

RIP Selena. Liked how he said it sounded like "reggae a little bit" cause after her untimely death, her brother A.B. which was basically the producer for salena... and then producer/ front runner for his, then, new band Kumbia Kings got big. That was the self proclaimed "Reggae cumbia!" Band. Used to love that new sound!
