She is/was our Queen....we played her music constantly back when I was growing up. I actually saw her at that famous Houston Rodeo Performance....I was 12 at the time...and man....was I in LOOOOOOOVE.

SO many people felt a connection with her. She was very special - so humble and sweet and loving. Not full of herself at all. I think that's part of the reason why so many people loved her.
