It’s amazing how similar redstone is to computer technology in real life, in that you can build any machine that can do anything...adding new components doesn’t create more things you can do, it just means your machines can be smaller.

This could make for an awesome base. Imagine: you come to a stone ruin next to a cliff; out in the distance, atop a tall, stony island (think "suberged mesa"; your height should be roughly half of the mesa's) , a lavish temple, with "no way" to get to it. You descend into the stone ruins, navigating its winding corridors and odd rooms (basically the stronghold experience, but you could add a lot of flavor), to find a switch in one of the back rooms. You flick it, not really knowing what it does, and BOOM! The wall opens up to the ocean, and out of the waters comes a marble staircase, rising stories into the air! You head up the staircase immediately and, as you climb it, a bridge comes out of the mansion to meet you. Damn, I might just learn how to redstone just to do this.

Am I the only one who feels like the "it's really simple" memes have actually had an effect? I feel like Mumbo's videos seem to include a lot more of an effort to explain to us what's going on, and I appreciate it. I actually understand what's happening, and it *is* really simple.

I love how Mumbo wants to make a red stone build that builds a bridge for him, although the bridge comes out of the ground, so that means he need to build the bridge to move out of the ground. So he needs to build the bridge AS WELL as the redstone

It would be really cool if you built the vanishing staircase in Sahara to get up to Sahara NOW instead of the bubble elevator and you could somehow use the membership token to activate them and a button or lever to retract them! I think mumbo has an ok understanding of how redstone works.

Finally I found it. A mumbo creation, that he shows (mostly) how to make.

With that whole staircase thing, I was just thinking that you could use it to have the same staircase leading to two different floors of a building.

Coming back to this and seeing that cliff face is like, Look at how far Mumbo has come

In the last design you can add some Dispensers and fill it with water bucket then you can make a wonderful working pool which turns into a stair case. How cool is that!😀

Idea. Put like a moat or ravine around your base and have a bridge that can extend out and retract whenever you want.
