Ali, please don’t apologize or tread lightly because you worry something will be offensive. This is your journey, you’re sharing your experiences and there’s a very valid reason to do what you’re doing. If someone could have possibly been offended by this video (or the first versions you created), they’re not your people and they can find a different channel.

Everybody is so butt hurt about crazy things. You do not need to apologize for your journey and your thoughts and all the education you have educated us with. You have been teaching me things I did not know especially things to help me excel both me and my friend. At the end you have to do what’s right for you… We love you awesome content ❤

Hi again Ali ❤ I feel like we are twinning with this vlog! I too, recently received not so ideal bloodwork results, and much like you, cannot afford multiple extra tests! However, I hope sharing my situation makes you feel just a little bit better. The Hospital has agreed to put me on a payment plan! $100 per month until the all my tests are paid off, with zero interest; and all I had to do was ask nicely. So I hope if you need additional testing, you will have the same good luck that I had. Have a wonderful weekend, and please keep us posted on your next lab results. Hugs! 💖

Sending you hugs! I can feel your frustration. But as you always mentor folks, you are doing what you need to in this moment to be healthy. You have supplied such important information about blood work, and then what to do to resolve your particular situation. More hugs🤗

Thanks for being honest. I totally get the feeling of thinking you have it all figured out only to have the rug pulled out from under you. I was diagnosed with T2D and got things under control with low carb eating. It worked great for about 25 lbs… and then stopped. 🤷‍♀️ That’s when I got on the MJ and have lost 30 more. Also, people telling you to stop the meds… if you’re T2D, that may not be an option. 🙄 Hang in there! We are all cheering for you. 💪🏻

I have had the same problem these last labs ALT liver enzymes increased to 51 for July but in April they were 13. I have only lost 17 lbs. so, I’m with you, I don’t want to come off of MJ. My glucose levels are great and A1C is 6.0 from 7.5. So I have faith that things will be okay. I also read that people taking high amounts of protein’s can cause a high Liver enzyme. So hang in there. It seems like you’re doing an awesome job 👍🏾👍🏾

Ok Ali, all my lab work is great. On the other hand, I'm almost bald now😂😂. In all seriousness, I do hope your labs get better. It's scary when things change. My doctor is taking me off Mounjaro after August, and I admit I'm nervous. This has always been the plan, but boy, as uncomfortable as the med made me, I'm nervous. He and I agreed the last 20lbs I needed to do "on my own." All change expected or not is difficult. I am looking forward to enjoying food again, though, just not so much of it. Best wishes.

I am at maintenance level now and take my meds every other week and walk a fine line between not losing and not gaining. As for foods not tasting right/good any more… is it possible you had covid a few months back when you were sick? I ask because after I had covid I could taste and smell fine… but everything I once liked to eat tasted awful! Some things tasted flat out rotten! I hope everything levels out for you! Keep up the amazing work you are doing. We are here to support you!!! Vent away if you need to.

Love your transparency as always. Thank you for sharing your story. I had to stop watching 👸🏼! Just too much of all of the stuff. We are here for you! You motivated me to get labs done after 3 months on WG and all my numbers have improved. Glucose at 100 but down from 105. I still have 30 lbs to reach my goal. They say just keep going. If I didn’t eat labs, I wouldn’t know anything except what the scale and measurements say. ❤

Could you titrate down and/ or take your injection less frequently? I’m on 5mg but take it every 10 days instead of 7, as when I tried taking it weekly I had no appetite & wasn’t eating enough. Sorry if you’ve already thought of this 😖 I hope you get through this rough patch and are able to continue your journey ❤

Have you ever looked into castor oil packs for liver detox? It know it might sound woowoo but I ate poorly for at least 30 years (I am 47 now) and I follow Mindy Pelz on her detox things and have been doing castor oils packs once a week for maybe 7 months now and my labs have been normal since then after 1 month of getting increased ALT and AST. Just a thought

I do hope you find a way to stall. I find myself in a somewhat imilar situation. I've been working with my dietitian to increase my calories. I am losing over 3lbs a week on average and as nice as it is to see the scale go down I'm scared of losing weight to fast. I've spent the last two weeks finding ways to increase calories even when I have no appetite. Worst part is the even though i managed to increase my calories from an average 800-900 to 1300-1400 the weight loss is still steep. It feels wrong to complain when so many folks are struggling to lose weight even in the drugs; but everyone's journey is unique and we need to give each other and ourselves more grace.

I have been stalled for months lost over 100 pounds got to 225 in November of last year my doctor put me on mounjaro 10 mg 6 weeks ago and still haven’t lost a pound I stay in a calorie deficit I eat about 100 grams of protein a day stay around 25 carbs or less and no sugar because I’m diabetic. You have me thinking maybe my body doesn’t like too much protein. I been doing a protein shake for breakfast 30 grams protein and yogurt smoothie for lunch that’s about 50 grams protein. I eat grilled chicken about 4 ounces and steamed broccoli before 6 in the evening I’ve done this for 2 weeks. Also go to the gym four days a week. I only drink water about 80 ounces a day. Any advice you could give me would help.

I'm sorry this is happening to you. Have you considered going down in dose temporarily? I know that most have insurance conflicts that prevent that but it is a thought. I don't think it is a bad thing to go back and review before moving forward again. For a lack of a delicate way to say this, I have considered going down for a week or two just to have a healthy poop without taking a million things.
