Sad to see the losing of video content. Your channel has been the only one focused on dairy farming that included all aspects including the hauling of dry and wet manure from start to finish.

It just absolutely kills me at how nosy cows are. First there was one, then two, then four, then all of them watching you bury that cable. LOL! It took me the whole video to process what you said about the ceiling fan, that it's 16' diameter. It wasn't until the end that i realized the long silver things are the blades. I can't wait to see that monster in action.

Eric I love the building site updates thank you so much for them. I know it's not what your channel is about but please pretty please make longer, dedicated, largly un-edited videos for the construction of the barn, some of us would love to see it, it's really easy footage for you to create, it's not every day you get to see how a modern barn is been built. Just watching the manure pit answered so many questions I had. Your hammer lightning joke was the funniest thing I've heard in a long time, nice to see that part of you, I was starting to think you were all work and no play. That was a classic and I was expecting it to be a compliment so it made it even funnier. Still laughing, I must remember it. Definite thumbs up video.

Both you and your Dad work hard through the day. Just a suggestion: To dig that trench for the electric wire you should consider using your Skid Steer. Let the machine do the heavy work and then fine tune it with your shovels. Then use it to fill in the trench. Or you could attach a blade on the back of the tractor and tip the blade as if you were going to dig a drainage ditch and use that to cut your trench in. Save your backs and take it easy on yourselves. You work hard enough as is, use the machines you have to do the heavy lifting. Just a thought.

I really don't mean to be a safety Susan but if that's a long-term plan for the electric fence it's going to fail relatively soon by arcing to earth and being less effective or causing false alarms. The guideline suggest the following but I'd go slightly deeper considering its unpaved and the hoofed foot traffic. When by-passing a gateway it is essential to use high quality double-insulated underground cable encased in a PVC pipe/conduit. Bury the pipe at least 300 mm (12”) deep. Turn the ends of the pipe down, well above ground level to keep water out.

Next time you have to put in an underground wire put it in a length of polyethylene water pipe and then if you need to replace it you can thread another one through. It also protects it from damage
