In your opinion, is it better to inject in your stomach area or your thigh area? Thanks!❤

I apologize, I am just seeing this. The stomach has a faster absorption rate than the thigh. This is not as important with semaglutide and tirzepatide as it is with injecting insulin

I have the option of being on one of these from a weight loss clinic in the state I live in through a compounding pharmacy because of insurance refusing to pay for the name brand. My question would be the prices are triple for tirzepitide for max dose compared to semaglutide. If the most you can afford is 5 mg a wk of the tirzepitide is it going to be more or the same effectiveness at weight loss as the 2.4 mg a wk of semaglutide? 5 mg tirzepitide is double the cost of the semaglutide 2.4 mg there.

@@jward3961⁠ the doses are not an equal. As in 1 mg of Semaglutide is not equal to 1 mg of Tirzepatide. Semaglutide 0.25mg is equivalent to Tirzepatide 2.5mg. Tirzepatide is typically more expensive even through compound pharmacies, but the data shows it’s more effective.

To be honest they are about the same, for maximizing results I would advice starting off with 10 000 steps daily increase it week from week 500+1000 And aim for high protein diet, low fat and abit of carbs around when you workout and abit after but healthy carbs. I used wegovy to lose 25kg of fat and get absolutely shredded to the bone 😤 8-10% fat % also gained muscle

Thank you for your input! Sounds like you probably had some good muscle mass and good metabolic function to begin with. Someone with high blood sugar and insulin may not want to add in carbs that early and it can take a few months before the weight really starts moving. I definitely agree with getting in plenty of protein and building muscle to accelerate results! The research shows semaglutide and tirzepatide are NOT the same and tirzepatide causing significantly more weight loss.
