Semana Santa in Uvita Costa Rica is one of the biggest if not the biggest holiday in Costa Rica. It begins the week before Easter and continues through to Easter Sunday. Schools are off for the week and many businesses begin closing on Thursday to make for a longer weekend. We take a look at how things are going near the entrances to Parque Nacional marino Ballena and the Whale tail. What is Uvita and Bahia like? Is it crowded, what is the weather like? Are the roads dusty? These are just a few things we will show you in this video.

You’re absolutely correct about learning and knowing the lay of the land here first. It makes living and visiting the Southern Zone much simpler. You can drive down the road and never know that just over there, there’s cool little town, a beautiful beach, river or waterfall. Where the stores are to shop, gas stations, banks, nightlife, and of course, the good pizza places you must try. 🍕😋

Definitely a good idea to have a guide to show you all the hidden gems, otherwise you would lose a lot of time blindly following your shadow !!

Thanks for sharing and a very happy Semana Santa to you, amigo! Same here with ongoing construction everywhere. They just cut some HUGE trees behind our property to build a very big house...feels like I cannot breathe anymore when looking out of the windows. But as you said, things are changing and somehow we have to follow...or go elsewhere. Anyway, all the best!

Thanks Dirk, Happy Semana Santa to you and hopefully next year you will be celebrating in Costa Rica. It is tough when they clear so much land and remove the trees that make things so magical and keep us safe from the killer sun, not to mention the oxygen boost.
