Minnie Small just a couple of ideas concerning the previously spilled thumb tacks; a magnet, scoop them up with a teaspoon, needle nose pliers or tweezers, and if you have none of those a piece of bread (like a dense bread you push down on the loose tacks). Really loved the tour, it really reflects you and your style.

I love watching studio tours... especially from those not lucky enough to have a huge huge double high space with 2 miles of white walls. Although not sure that that would be better than a small cozy perfect space. I love listening to your videos :-) I have now managed to split my studio from my husbands space so i'm enjoying setting it up. Gosh its a lot of work though..

Hey Minnie, thank you for the inspiration. I have just purchased your pomegranate print for my new studio. We moved in to our new rental unit a few days ago, been buying lots of plants, and that print would be nice to put into my studio, to tape to the wall. We are settling in nicely, boxes everywhere....and we were on the road in Airbnb's since May 2020, so it is nice to stop and have our own things again, my tea cabinet, and our own bed to sleep in..... Perhaps place "the thing" under hot water to open tough things or a butter knife pushed downwards to open tough plastic seals, or a butter knife to open tough jars under the lip of the jar. I use tiny handmade watercolour journals (100 percent cotton), to make swatches and colour studies in. It is so personal to hold a very little book, as one can get close to the colour! Another time, another journal, I was inspired by a very vivid dream, where I was holding miniature paintings that were antique looking, one a toy soldier, so I painted these pictures that I saw, making my dreams come true. In kindred spirit Eliza, Sydney Australia xx

Hiya Minnie, I found you via a Polish lady I met on YT; she is an artist, too, working mainly in, at the moment, silver. Her favourite picture, and indeed mine, is the wave, so imagine my delight seeing it on your mouse mat and screen saver. She made a version in sterling some time back and was delighted to purchase it, and I now wear it too. Anyway, the reason I'm on here, apart from loving your work, is to ask if you do logos? I'm learning to be a goldsmith and working at the moment, mainly in Argentium silver, but I need a logo for my online presence and paperwork. I am in absolutely no way an artist, so doing anything is beyond my capabilities. I'm a 65-year-old ex-electrician, now disabled and learning a new trade, more than a hobby, not yet a vocation. From what I've seen of your work, I love the freshness you bring to it. As an electrician, I worked a lot in film and power for film and TV, and my logo was a lightbulb with a video camera on a tripod as the element. I hope to hear from you soon; stay safe, Steve...
