Here is a video on one of the ways you can pair a Sena 20S to a GPS and/or a mobile phone. Please refer to the manual of your GPS to determine whether it can be paired to a Bluetooth headset.

If you have a newer sena it is not the round button you press. Hold in the black small button on the side/rear for 5 to 10 seconds. If you are using a different phone make sure your Bluetooth is off on the other phone.

this review is bad because you do not demonstrate which button to press during your tutorial..you should not assume the viewers no where the buttons are.

Maybe if you take the time to read the manual you may have the general knowledge of it's buttons and features.

@@jonballard5359 why watch video then u just read the whole manual. but if your out already an don't have the manual I'd rather get the info in 1 place than search for another place with buttons listed.

I used this method to pair my main unit from my 20s Evo to my iPhone, Zumo 660 and my HJC modular. The pairing itself went fine but the volume from the Zumo comes on blasting while the volume from the phone is faintly audible. And this is in a quiet living room. I have to struggle to barely hear a thing. Currently playing with the volumes but the same. Suggestions?

However, it can only pair to one chatterbox. Not a group of chatterboxs. Also, when paired wirg the chatterbox, communication with other SENA's is not possible without disconnecting from the chatterbox.

can you connect sena with £30 cheap bluetooth? I tried just didn't succeed.any Idea!!?

I tried too and never managed to connect it. Which is weird as this bluetooth device connects to virtually anything i wanted, from phones to bluetooth speakers... Mine is a Taotronics TT-BA07 (transforms any analog audio source into bluetooth emiter which is good not only for older devices but for things like radar warners or other stuff with intermitent use) and was sold to me from a bike shop as compatible to Sena, however, never managed to connect it there, neither as primary nor as secondary device. PS: Sena is updated to latest firmware and now i can connect it to Taotronics (need to be pushing several times both devices buttons: Taotronics power button, Sena 20s rear button). The problem is that Taotronics being paired as main phone or 2nd, it gets always cut from the other phone audio. It should be the other way, main phone playing music and when Taotronics emits sound, it gets over the main phone, but it does not happen that way no matter the configuration or priority is set for them. To listen the sound emited by Taotronics, i must pause any sound from the other phone, which defeats the "GPS instructions overlay".

Can you pair the Sena 20S to a Garmin Virb XE?

Just as an informational, you can pair a Sena 20s to a Garmin XE via Bluetooth connection on the Garmin. However, when recording with the Garmin, the Sena 20s does NOT work as a communicator anymore, at least until you stop recording. This is good only if you are riding solo and doing a VLOG or something. It would be nice to add the feature in the future, to allow for rider2rider/group communications while BT connected to the Garmin and maybe even allowing the Garmin to record all group conversations.
